From the moment I called her I knew I had to hire her. Liz has been by my side since 2018 working on my separation and divorce. I am not stationed in Virginia anymore as I am on active duty but my ex-husband still lives there and she handled everything for me without hesitation. I didn't have to make a trip back to go to court and she insured that I got primary custody of my children. For 15 months she patiently dealt with me asking a million and one questions without ever making me feel like I couldn't trust her to have my best interest at heart. If ever I need a lawyer in Virginia again I know who to call.

Ms. Wood was a pleasure to work with over the past year from the moment we met she approached my case custody with fire and determination. She made sure that all of the correct paperwork was filed quickly and correctly. She gave me her word that i would end up with my son and that is exactly what happened. No matter what time i called or text she would reply quickly and reassure me that things would work out for me. Elizabeth M. Wood P. C. Has been of great value to me in my pursuit of visitation and custody with my two Beautiful daughters. As a Father, the value of family is immensely important to me. I have fought for four years in a system that does not favor me in the least. Unfortunately i did not know Ms. Woods from the beginning. In those four years I have had attorneys take clear immoral advantage of my situation and the pains of such dealings was tremendous. Ms. Woods did not charge me a consultation fee. Myself, like most fathers I know, did not have the $400-$500 for a consultation fee that some other attorneys were charging. This was of great help in and of itself! Her retainer fee that she required of me was both modest and fair, showing a respect for the financial aspect of the clients position. With that said, her quality of customer service was above par and stayed consistently approachable with any concerns. As a client, having your voice not fall on deaf ears is a benefit. The dying question that many clients want to have answered... did I get the results I wanted? No I did not. Did I get Quality representation from Ms. Woods regarding my case... Absolutely. I believe with the representation I received facing a clearly INHERENT BIASED JUDGE, a PARTISAN GAL and opposing counsel, Ms. Woods performed in a way resulting the best outcome foreseeable at this time. Would I seek further counsel from her? Yes I would. From a Father who has personally experienced immoral acts within this system, I believe Ms. Elizabeth Woods P. C. is of value and will give fair representation for her client. P.S. remember, children are born 50% of both parents, but it should be 100% about them. Seek the most positive outcome for your child, not yourself.

Ms. Wood represented me in a case yesterday. While I knew I was at fault and there was no way around it, she told me what COULD happen. She tried the case so that we could at least try and get me the minimum. She ended up getting me the minimum. She was very knowledgeable and listened carefully to me anytime I spoke with her. She was prompt at getting back to me when I had to reach out to her for anything. I suggest to get a second and even third opinion on your matter. A year later I am still paying for the lack of attention that was given toward my custody case and ultimately allowing infant twins to be taken across state lines with no specifics outlined in the order. And then when I let her know the order was incorrect in regards to what was discussed and what was actually documented she basically told me to figure it out and that there was nothing she could do. She came off as a hard worker and an overall “shark” that I needed but that was not the case. I ended up paying for a bunch of documentation that ultimately got us no where and made us both look incompetent in front of the judge; besides more money on top of the required retainer fee.
