She went above and beyond to ensure that I got what I needed in a very professional manner. I found her to be extremely helpful and "user-friendly". I will updating this more as my complaint against Ms. Wood goes through the Virginia State Bar. However, It is my strongest suggestion that you do not retain Ms Wood for any matter where the outcome has any real importance to your family, life, or livelihood. With so many competent attorneys in Hampton Roads is it worth the risk that your important legal matter be in the hands of someone who will be grossly unprepared and disorganized? Save yourself the chance of feeling regret in matters of criminal and family law.

Liz Wood has represented me two times in traffic court and successfully got the tickets reduced. I was very pleased with the outcome and my representation.

Elizabeth has represented me a couple times with some tenant issues. She was very quick to send out the letters and gave me some great advice on how to handle late payments. She is very professional and will even work nights and weekends if needed to get the job done Don’t listen to the bad reviews listed here. The one bad review she has is from a man who constantly gives bad reviews to every company he goes to. Just check out his profile. His history speaks for itself.

Awful lawyer... She agreed to take my case then made excuse after excuse why she didn't do what she said she was going to. She missed deadlines, didn't make phone calls she was supposed to and couldn't even bring herself to obtain a copy of an order. I hired her because I live in Texas and needed someone to represent me in Virginia. I brought these concerns to her attention multiple times and she just blew them off. She decided to stop representing me when I again informed her I was unhappy with the representation I was receiving. She absolutely refused to return any money I had given her and left me high and dry. If you want someone to rip you off and give you awful representation this is your lady. If you want a good lawyer who looks out for your interests look somewhere else! This woman is a con artist at best.

My case involved custody, support, and visitation. Actions by the other party caused the case to be drawn out over an extended period. Elizabeth Wood represented me with great diligence and competence throughout the process and ultimately secured exactly the result that I was seeking. I found her to be effective, trustworthy, down-to-earth, understanding, and a great communicator. I felt well represented during this extended period and was impressed that she always knew the details of my case and what I was seeking even following long delays.
