I reached out to this firm late at night and reached the owner. A family member living in VA attempted to avoid arrest after committing crimes by giving my information to the responding officers. Subsequently, I never got any notices or communications from the police department as my brother gave them a wrong address. I realized the situation a year later after being denied the purchase of a new firearm. I paid this office on the spot, signed the paperwork and off went the owner of this firm. In the end I had to jump through a ton of hoops such as providing photos of myself, providing bank statements, providing receipts from within a 6 hour window of the incident, providing fingerprint cards, talking with the responding officers and their supervisor. In the end it took the legal system of VA a year to reverse these charges, charge my brother with them and additional charges. I am glad the police department reached out to me because there were incidents that they were investigating but turned cold because there’s no record of me in VA. They were able to reopen these cold cases and proceed after my brother. In the end Mr. Johnson remained in contact and pushed the PD, courts and State troopers office to do what was right based on the evidence I submitted. Great job, I thank this firm for taking care of me through this process.

Displayed an excellent knowledge in the criminal law practices on the many of occasions I have observed them and are competent, confident, and they have a positive reputation throughout their field. They have an expertise in regularly negotiating positive outcomes for their clients with sound advice and they tend to put their clients interest above their own. Obviously these guys aren’t magicians and not every outcome can be the one we all would hope for, but from what I have witnessed from these guys while being on both sides of the court room, they will give you the best shot you have at obtaining a positive outcome. Would recommend both attorneys Westendorf and Khalaf as they make navigating the law a less stressful walk through.

Taite Westendorf is an amazing lawyer. In my husband’s felony case, he was confident from the beginning that there were several avenues to a complete dismissal. My husband and I trusted him, and it was the best choice we could have made. He wrote a wonderful motion that discussed a very nuanced 4th amendment/search and seizure issue, and the judge agreed with him that the search violated my husband’s rights! Just like that, the case, (that involved mandatory minimum prison sentence) was dismissed. I hope to never this type of service again, but if I do, he will be the lawyer I retain. Listen to the 5 star reviews! I did, and my husband is a free man.

Last fall I found myself, a working mother of 6, with quite a hefty charge against an officer of the law. Considering this was my first arrest of any kind and I had been involved in a physical altercation with a grown man wearing a badge, I was pretty badly shaken by the entire incident. Before even viewing the bodycam footage, the team assured me that they had things under control, and my attorney, Bassel Khalef, kept me updated via text the entire case. Mr. Khalaf was an incredibly understanding and attentive attorney. He charged me a very reasonable price, and even dropped that price when less work was required. And come to find out, he was expecting a new baby the whole case (props to his wife for holding down the fort at home during the busy holiday season). One more detail for the single and/or working parents: They get it! The guys told me right out the gate it was totally fine to bring my child with me to our initial convo AND they kept the conversation rolling like champs when I had to change my son’s dirty diaper right there under the table in their conference room! These guys are awesome i had a failure to yeild that caused an accident they talked to the judges and the trooper and in result all i had to do was take driver improvement course and it got my case dismissed!! They're very friendly people and understood the situation! Will definitely be back if anything else shood pop up.

Bassel Khalaf is amazing at what he does. He was able to get my reckless driving 62/35 dismissed completely. On the first court date, we had it reduced to speeding ticket with $45 fee. We appealed as recommended by Bassel. I was completely okay with just taking the Speeding and paying the 45 and going on with it. Everyone I spoke to outside of Bassel told me not to appeal because it’s the best I can get but Bassel was confident that he could get it dismissed. I went with his advice which is what I literally paid for lol… and got exactly the outcome I wanted! Thank you thank you thaaaank you so much 🙏🏽. 10/10 definitely recommend!
