Sharon and her team are wonderful. They are compassionate and caring. They helped us with our daughter's green card renewal, which was expected to be a straightforward process but ended up taking longer because of USCIS's errors in processing the application and its lack of responsiveness. But Sharon kept us updated and took action on our behalf to push the process forward. They were always available to listen to us and offered useful feedback. And yes, we did receive the green card. Sharon Powell is a very good immigration lawyer. Our lawyer-client relationship goes back close to 10 years. She helped me renew my green card several years ago. Then about a year ago when I decided to to file my N 400 - Application for Naturalization, I reached out to her. And again, she filed my application and it was approved. She is very knowledgeable in immigration law and she puts her clients first over money. As an appreciation of her help, I will send people I know who may need legal immigration help her way. Hiring Powell Law has been an awesome experience for me. Sharon Powell and her staff drive a culture of respect, integrity, professionalism, communications, pro-activeness and knowledge. Immigration Law is very complex, the laws are constantly changing and the bureaucracy involved is insane. Powell Law worked very hard through many law changes and Covid lockdowns to navigate effectively through the process until the desired end result was achieved. I have always found them to be responsive and attentive to the needs of her clients and her staff is superb with the added bonus of being able to speak excellent technical Spanish. Her fees are consistent with other immigration law attorneys in the area especially when you consider her background and thoroughness. I whole heatedly recommend Ms. Powell and her staff for anyone needing assistance with an immigration issue.

I have called twice or three times and both ladies I spoke with are pleasant and professional but the attorney is never there!!!!! I would have consulted with her but she seems to not exist.

About 2 months ago my husband called to make an appointment. He speaks very little English so he assumed someone at this office spoke Spanish. The secretary answered and her Spanish is absolutely horrible, with a very heavy accent and she sounded like a child, so my husband hung up. I called to set up a phone consultation and we went ahead with it. Ms. Powell did not offer us much guidance and sounded distant and concerned about other matters (his was a phone consultation). We really did not feel wanted nor helped. We went to another attorney about a week later that we hired.

After a consultation I can tell you this lady is not knowledgeable at all and her fees are ridiculously high!!! If I could rate 0 stars, I would!

Mrs. Powell is diligent, dedicated and courteous. She keeps the client informed about the status of the case at hand and her interpreter is wonderful. I feel I am in good hands!

Sharon helped me navigate the TPS (temporary protected status) opportunity during the Ebola outbreak when it would have been very difficult to safely return to my country.
