Almost everything was great, except for one thing. Instead of mailing closing documents to our PO Box in Stephens City as we requested, they were mailed to our old address in Manassas. This issue was compounded by a forwarding problem at our old address with the USPS. Their forwarding label was blank so our closing papers went to an undeliverable mailbox. About a year later we finally got the documents. McCarthy & Akers in other aspects was a joy to work with. Nice people work there.

McCarthy & Akers was stellar in a real estate transaction and was very professional, courteous and fully understood, from the beginning to the conclusion, the financial, legal and personal requirements of the real estate transactions. Having also dealt with several other Winchester area law firms that were very impersonal and did not seemed interested in any non-legal requirements and only dealt with legal templates , I would strongly urge using McCarthy & Akers and the team led by Matt Akers.

Emma was very polite, respectful and understanding. She greeted us, offered beverages and got us into a closing room in a very timely manner. Everyone at the office did a wonderful job of explaining our documents and answering any questions we had.
