Georgia is absolutely one of the best lawyers I’ve ever worked with. When you’re truly doing right & need help she is your person. She truly fights for what’s right & advises you in the right direction. She’s been available at anytime for me during my case. It really helps when your lawyer takes the time that she does with a case. She will be my go to for anything needed in the future. Cannot recommend enough.

This attorney was recommended by another attorney to contact for information regarding divorce. I was not able to speak with Ms. Ashby; however, I was consulted by her partner. This attorney answered my questions but informed me it would be a long process and by the time we finished I would owe her $200,000.00 - 400,00.00 US dollars what a crock!!! Then she sent me a bill for our 6 minute conversation over the telephone for $ 400.00. Which they stated she charged $400.00 an hour. How does 6 minutes constitute one hour. STAY CLEAR OF THIS LAW FIRM THEIR OUT FOR YOUR MONEY NOT TO HELP YOU!!

The worst lawyer I've ever seen!!!

My experience with Kelly was not positive in any way. I met her in person for the first time the day of my hearing, and had news that my ex who had filed the motions was recently arrested. Rather than figure out why, and save things from having to go any further Kelly kind of shrugged it off, and proceeded to play the court game. As a single mother, with five children, I don’t have money to play these kinds of games and did not appreciate her telling me where I have done things wrong in having to move to try to support myself and the kids over the last couple of years. When you hire somebody and pay them hundreds of dollars an hour you expect them to have your best interest in mind, and I did not feel that Kelly did. At all. I felt I needed to defend myself to her as much as anyone.

Kelly Ashby acts tough and like she will fight for you, but don't believe it. She has no grit beyond paper. She will not fight for you in court.

I needed to file for divorce and had no idea about how the entire process would be handled. I was very anxious and nervous, especially being a man with two young children involved. I researched local law firms on my own and Mrs. Ashby's office was recommended to me through a contact. After my initial meeting with Kelly, I knew she would be perfect to represent me. She intently listened to all of my needs and was very professional and caring of my unfortunate situation. Luckily for me, my ex-wife and I had already worked through any issues and agreed upon everything before this meeting (split custody, asset separation, etc). Kelly drafted a separation agreement for us, and then after numerous other forms that needed signed by both parties, filed the divorce on my behalf. Meghan, who also works there, was absolutely wonderful. She was my primary contact throughout the process. She answered all of my many questions and was super friendly and knowledgeable. She really made this sad and unknown time in my life as easy and encouraging to me as possible. An incredible asset to the law office. The entire divorce process for me took just under 3 months from first visit to finalization of divorce and I never had to step foot in a court room. I would highly recommend the Law Office of Kelly C. Ashby to anyone going through a divorce.

Disappointed with her fighting for me when it came to the final sit down with the ex. I should say the lack of fight. I'm getting taken to the cleaners and after speaking with another attorney, it'll cost more to try to take it to court to try to get it adjusted. Now I'm stuck.

Kelly is an excellent attorney. She is a person of integrity, capable, intelligent, and fair. In my opinion, she is from a mentality of collaboration and resolution. I appreciated her so much when I went through my divorce. She knows the law and presents you with the facts and then gives you space to decide. I totally recommend her and her services!

Our experience with Kelly Ashby has been nothing but positive. She has been insightful, responsive, helpful, and professional to my family for over a decade. We highly recommend her.

Very quick to point the finger at the client to tell them what they are doing wrong when the client has no idea what to do. You get an attorney to guide you through a process that they don’t want to be in and don’t know the best way to proceed. She did give a full refund on the retainer but mainly because she didn’t do anything.
