Call to ask questions it was railroaded with rudeness once I stated that I wanted to fight the divorce. I’m ignorant to this whole process and just wanted some guidance during a moment of vulnerability and was just slammed in the face.

In the summer of 2016, my husband was suddenly put into prison. Immediately, my three children and I lost our spiritual and economic backbone. Not only that, we could not afford the debt of both our home and credit cards. With nowhere to go, I went everywhere, asking my friends how should I go about living. This was due to English being my second language and that all of my immediate family was living in Taiwan. I was very uncertain about the steps I should take. Fortunately, I have some supportive friends. Knowing my situation, they strongly recommended that I go see a lawyer specializing in bankruptcy. Mr. Chen was a very organized and kind lawyer. My stereotype of lawyers were that they were generally cold-blooded and powerful, so after preparing the needed materials, I was very nervous waiting for the law firm. Mr. Chen was just as my friend described. I know that everyone's case is different, but maybe you are just like me, feeling helpless and scared or even disgraceful. You really don’t know who can truly help you. You’re afraid of being cheated, and you’re afraid that you won’t be able to pay high lawyer fees. Trust me, their prices are absolutely fair. What is so touching is that after the case was over, they still warmly provided services that if there was any harassment or unclear documents, they would continue to assist. I filed for bankruptcy on the 7th of May 2, 2018, and my case ended on September 6 of the same year. It can be seen that the efficiency of Mr. Chen ’s law firm reaches up to now, April 2020. Why, after two years, I stand to recommend them? I want to explain that because of my experience, I know that the road to bankruptcy is not easy, but there is no certain way to have a good lawyer. I would also like to testify , if I, an non-American woman, whose husband went to prison, with three children who needed support overcame this, so can you. My children and I now live in Utah. I have two children who have exceptional grades in college. One of them will start the same journey next year. I now have a stable job and am very grateful to God.
