Ms. Castillo did what she needed and did it under her initial retainer fee. I hope I never need a defense attorney again, but I will return if needed.

Not pleased with the intake process was notifed the night proir via e-mail for payment details and to fill out a general information sheet for intake. I verbally provided the information but it was not recorded from prior calls and I would not have time to print, fill, and scan the sheet in the next morning before noon. Notice at the time of making the appointment a week prior would be better.

$300 for him to hand a sheet about help with the county! All was needed was a parenting plan and wanted 3k...what a joke. Plus the fact it's a sleazy office.

Another reviewer summarized my experience so well I am going to quote liberally from it: I worked with Steve Phillips in a civil case. Working with Steve Phillips and his paralegal was a needlessly frustrating, exhausting, and difficult experience. They made numerous mistakes, lost documents and emails, made me and my attorneys do 90% of the work, and filed significantly later than was originally promised without explanation or apology (his fee approval, however, he was VERY sure to proactively file with the court). It was terrible and it took a toll on my emotional health. During my work with him and during our hearing with the judge it became apparent that Steve knew nothing about my case or my children's situation. I only worked with him because I was required to do so by the court; if a law firm has employees that do such shoddy work I would think twice before working with anyone at this firm.

Stephen Phillips is a terrible person and a bad attorney, he wouldn't even take my case yet here I am 2 years later and I won my case with more competent attorneys

I worked with Steven Phillips and Laura Olsen, Paralegal in a social security disability case. It was a frustrating, exhausting and difficult experience. They made so many mistakes. Lost documents, documents not filed with the judge, making me do 90% of the work. It was terrible and it took a toll on my health, one that I couldn’t pay. Steven even fell asleep twice during an appointment with me and my caregiver. During my hearing with the judge it became apparent that Steven knew nothing about my complex medical history, or my disease, or anything that he was able to present to the judge. If a law firm has employees that do such shoddy work I would think twice before working with anyone at this firm.

Horrible customer service and rude paralegals, bad information, all they want is more and more money

Hired lawey from firm that gave me wrong information regarding DUI laws. Please make sure to meet layers from firm before paying retainer.
