As General Counsel of our firm, I engaged Mark to represent us in a matter that was unique and completely outside of our regular course of business. The deal was also beyond my professional legal expertise and range. Adding to all of this, I was operating with a very limited budget. Mark was incredible. Not only was he erudite, accessible and highly responsive but he equipped me with every tool I needed to close the deal on my own. His detailed briefings outlined all of the risks, the boilerplate and customary terms in the deal agreements and the pros/cons of each decision point. His work product was essentially a negotiation map which I've kept in my form files as a valuable resource for future deals. To me, the measure of truly great outside legal counsel is whether he or she teaches me to catch my own fish. Mark absolutely does that. Moreover, he did all of this well within his original estimate and our budget and was a complete pleasure to work with. He is a consummate professional whom I gladly recommend to others.
