I have know Irv Sonkin for over 30 years, have used his services and recommended him to a number of associates. Irv is a problem-solver who seeks practical solutions to simple or complicated legal matters. He is especially adept at the complexities of Estate Planning and Real Estate. I also appreciate his efforts to not "run up the bill."

I work with and against Irving Sonkin on a number of cases. He is a very knowledgeable, responsive and able attorney. Irving and I have worked together on several bankruptcy and similar cases, where he took the lead on litigation and negotiations of lease and real estate issues, and I handled the creditor/debtor issues. He is always responsive, prepared and very competent.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience in dealing with this lawyer. I would not recommend him as he was expensive, unresponsive, refused to be reasonable and was rude. The only thing that I could give him credit for was that he seemed to be fairly knowledgeable in some areas. You would think that after 30+ years of practice he would know how to deal with people!
