I got a nasty speeding ticket ($358) going 48 in the 30 mph (previously 40 mph) construction zone along Bellevue Way. I knew that if I just paid the ticket and didn't fight it, my insurance premiums would rise substantially. Roberto was able to get my ticket moved to a parking ticket (non-moving violation) with a reduced fine of $136. In total, I paid $336 (Roberto's fees + fine), which is not only $20 less than the original ticket, but also does not result in any points on my record nor premium increases :) I found Roberto via Yelp and he squeezed me in for a quick meeting the next business day. He was polite, easy to talk to, and was patient when answering all of my questions. I recommend Roberto for the following reasons: 1) He takes care of everything for you once you sign your papers and make the $200 payment. Before choosing Roberto, I researched other traffic attorneys -- most of whom required YOU, the customer, to mail the ticket/request a contested hearing, and report the assigned court date to the lawyer. With Roberto, you don't need to do any of this. He takes care of you and everything related to your ticket/infraction once you hire him as your lawyer. 2) He was honest and not pushy! I asked him what the chances were of getting the ticket thrown out completely, and he explained that while it could happen, it was more likely to be moved to a non-moving violation. I appreciated that although he gave me his time by meeting with me, I didn't feel pressured into hiring him (but chose to anyways!) 3) He communicates quickly and effectively by both e-mail and telephone. Do not fear! If you have any questions or concerns, he will get back to you ASAP. My court date was on a Monday afternoon, and he e-mailed me my results in less than 48 hours. Thank you!!
