Tim helped me with my home owners insurance claim with a major insurance company. After trying to handle the claim myself and getting no where, I hired Tim. The insurance company was questioning whether I actually own the items that were stolen, when I had already given proof of ownership to my insurance agent - who lost them! Tim helped me go through the records and prepared letters and evidence to send to the insurance company. The insurance company finally agreed to pay my claim. I recommend Tim service to anyone who needs help dealing with insurance company.

It has been a great experience working with Attorney Timothy Chiang-Lin. He is highly knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He patiently walked with me through the entire process over a period of many months. He has a calm demeanor and is confident and assuring. He listened and worked with my comfort level. He was always professional, never pushy and had my best interest at heart. He made what began as an unpleasant experience into a positive outcome. It has been a tremendous blessing working with him.

I was looking at 30 years and Tim was able to negotiate it down with the prosecutor to 8 years with DOSA meaning 3 years in-custody. I couldn't have ask for better representation.

Let me begin by expressing how assured I felt throughout all of my court proceedings dealing with two DUI's. This obviously doesn't reflect positively on me, but I never once felt that Tim was biased in any way, or that he didn't have my best interests in mind. Tim showed a great deal of professionalism and attention to detail when it came to my cases. He always kept me informed and even went as far as to remind me of my own court dates and appointments. Tim is not just a lawyer that you get out of a legal representation vending machine that will give you all of the same answers as any other lawyer you hear about on the radio. He has his own approach that is tailored to you and your specific situation. Now that i'm done praising, i'll get down to the semi-specifics. I hired Tim after I had been charged with my second DUI while still under probation from my first. At my initial consultation, Tim told me what my options were and didnt pull any punches. He gave it to me straight and didnt give me any false promises of unrealistic results. Unfortunately, things weren't looking too great for me. I was facing my second DUI charge (this one with a refusal to test) and violation of probation for my first charge. Tim handled both of these for me simultaneously. As for my DUI, Tim and I took it all the way to trial and eventually settled with a reckless driving conviction with alcohol treatment classes, and a week of EHD. For my probation violation, I did 2 days of work crew. If you are not already aware, things could have been much worse for me. Throughout the proceedings, Tim made sure to focus on all of my positive attributes and really made it clear to the judge, jury, and prosecution that I am a human being that is capable of making mistakes and also learning from them. He stuck up for me and really fought for me every step of the way. I felt that Tim was just as emotionally invested as I was and it was very supporting. I was able to continue my education, keep working, keep my license, and didnt have to spend any time in jail. I have now completed all of my alcohol treatment classes, paid all of my fines, and now only have one probation meeting left before I can finally move on with my life and use this all as a valuable lesson. It has been a long 2 years since the DUI, but without Tim's help, I would not have this opportunity to finally get my life in order and build a foundation for my new alcohol-free life.

It took many phone calls to hear back from Tim. He clearly didnt review or try anything to help me. Will only try to get you to plea for a lesser charge, wont do the work or keep you informed enough to defend yourself. Evidence clearly on my side..... I found this out after pleaing due to Tim's negligence. He didnt understand that I was a person not some file in his briefcase. (of many looking at *peer reviews)
