I engaged Roxanne for an automotive personal injury claim. Not only did she negotiate well on my behalf with multiple insurance agencies and representatives, she navigated their processes well, fought hard on my behalf and kept me updated with constant communication along the way. Roxanne helped me out when I was hit hy an uninsured driver. She was very knowledgeable about how the process worked and helped me to understand my own UIM coverage quite well. I was introduced to Roxanne through a colleague who had worked with Roxanne in the past. I had just been burned by another attorney who I'm sure was very competent, but had little interest in my case. We were forced to split when her firm began representing my opponent in another case, and the conflict of interest left me back at square one. The issue that Roxanne navigated me through was an embarrassing conflict with a very large company that was demanding an equally large (for me) sum of money that had me on the brink of bankruptcy. While I believe bankruptcy is a perfectly acceptable option for many people dealing with many daunting circumstances, I was hoping to prevent it, if possible, for the sake of my credit-worthiness. Most of the advice I'd received prior contacting Roxanne was to go ahead and file for bankruptcy. Roxanne sensitively coached me through my options, including bankruptcy (which she assured me was nothing to be ashamed of), and after two phone calls and what felt like an extremely short amount of time, Roxanne informed me that not only would I not have to file for bankruptcy, but that she had negotiated a payment and plan that I could actually afford to pay. Roxanne had taken the biggest financial blunder of my life and boiled it down to a minor inconvenience. I should mention that I was entirely at fault in this particular situation which made this an embarrassment that I hated to confront. Because of this, I'm sure I have not been the easiest client to work with. My tendency to bury my head in the ground has been, I'm sure, frustrating for Roxanne. But she's continued to be there every step of the way as this has become easier and easier to deal with over time. I look forward to recommending her to everyone I meet in the future that has an issue that requires an attorney with Roxanne's expertise. And I can't wait to hear from them about how Roxanne has turned a terrifying crisis into an inconvenience of the past.
