When I met Lisa Scott I was going through a very difficult time. I had my own ideas about what I wanted, and had already been to numerous counseling sessions with my ex-wife and knew her radical ideas. I was able to work out a non formal agreement with my ex-wife for only 1 overnight a week, and two evening visits each week. I petitioned for the divorce, my ex-wife wrote a book to the court about what a monster I was, with lies and false allegations. My ex then wanted me to have less time (every other weekend with 1 evening visit a week. Long story short; With Lisa Scott's aid the court sided with me and immediately gave me a second overnight, and I finally settled out of court on a graduated 50/50 joint shared custody arrangement that I could not be more happy with. My daughter was 10 months old when my ex-wife left. She is now 20 months old and I am so happy with my results. My child support obligation also reflects my time with my daughter, and for that I am also pleased. Lisa Scott made sure I was in good hands, and helped me protect my rights as a father. She is straight up, passionate about her job, and very knowledgeable.

I did also intend to mention that Attorney Lisa D. Scott is extremely honest in her approach to providing Counsel. She will not "Guild the lily" or make promises she can't deliver, or, immediately ask for a retainer as some others may, but was willing to provide initial guidance on an hourly basis, something of a rarity. She also was very clear about her Ethical position, taking a strong offense to obviously False Accusations made by the other side to "play dirty". She rolled up her sleeves to fight, but only with absolute honestly and an "open book" and "clean hands" policy, being morally superior to "playing dirty". This commitment counters a client's sometimes naturally insulted and emotional urge to "fight back" but then also risk appearing to be seeking retaliation over "Best Interest". If you walk into Court with Lisa by your side, you will know you have an Atty. standing With You, not just next to you. Again, I can not more highly recommend her on a personal level. I you want to fight dirty, go elsewhere. If you want a Capable, Knowledgeable Advocate, this is your Attorney.

Lisa Scott is a tireless Advocate for her clients. She is not only a razor sharp Attorney when it comes to finding details about your case or documents that might otherwise be overlooked, she is a fantastic person. She has a great professional humor that will lighten the heaviness of the situation and make it easier to deal with. She takes personal interest in her clients, and beyond being a great Attorney, she is an amazing and wonderful individual as well. She is a great credit to her profession. If you are in a situation where someone has said something about you that is not true, she is the type of Attorney who will care about you, not just the case, and she will go above and beyond to help.
