Mr. Leyba was an excellent attorney who assisted me with an unexpected legal matter. He was able to provide insights and details into the process and nuances of the case, and was very transparent and responsive in communications with me. Ultimately he secured the outcome he discussed with me at the onset with zero surprises, and we were able to resolve things in the most ideal way possible. While I hope to never need his services again, I would not hesitate to retain him again in the future or recommend him to others.

After having a DUI case thrown into my life, all I wanted was to deal with it to the best extent possible and move on with my life - and Matt is the lawyer that made it all possible. I'm shocked and absolutely stunned at how well Matt handled my case. He poured over every last bit of evidence that was present and truly did whatever was feasible to result in a favorable outcome. Having blown a .12 along with being quite foolish and self-incriminating with the arresting officer, through Matt's unparalleled legal expertise in these kinds of cases I was able to have what seemed to be an open-and-shut DUI conviction pled down to a Reckless driving charge. Matt is a miracle worker in these sorts of situations. Since he's been doing this for so long, he knows the entire process inside-and-out. For example, during the DOL hearing, he noticed that the arresting officer didn't follow proper protocol in informing that he was attending. A slight mix-up on the officers part - sending an email versus calling - was enough to have that entire part thrown out because of Matt's sheer brilliance, insight, and knowledge in this situation. This extreme attention to the tiniest detail is what truly makes him different from any other DUI lawyer, and would give anyone the best chance for a favorable outcome that's possible for their case. If you could ask yourself who to choose in this situation, would you go for an attorney that has run-of-the-mill reviews, or one that has this track-record for making the absolute best of your individual case down to the tiniest detail? It scares me that there are other DUI lawyers out there that wouldn't pay as close attention to these things as Matt, and I could have ended up with them pleading my case. I'm just so thankful that I chose Matt and truly lucked out in making the best choice of lawyer possible. If there is absolutely any possible problem with the prosecutors case, I guarantee you that Matt will find it. My arresting officer was in fact on the DUI task force for Seattle - if anyone could build a water-tight case against me, it would have been that officer. Matt is just so mastered in DUI cases that he was able to find problems with the initial reason for the stop and the roadside tests. What seemed to be hopeless was quite the opposite in fact, and because of Matt's prowess, I'm able to move on from this with the absolute minimum repercussions possible. He's not just a normal DUI lawyer, he's truly the best in Seattle. After his courteousness and willingness to openly discuss any and all aspects of the situation, I knew that Matt had my back. He laid to rest all of my questions and fears along each step of the process while explaining each part in the most understanding way.
