Dawn was very easy to talk to, knowledgable, and offered great advice in an easy to understand way. She was very helpful teaching this novice about business and my best options going forward starting a small business. Highly recommended!

I have hired Dawn on three separate occasions to look over my contracts. What most impresses me about her is her responsiveness and honesty. It is truly hard to find people that do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. In addition to that she doesn't give advise that she isn't comfortable standing behind. For example, when I asked her questions that didn't relate to what she specializes in she was happy to direct me to someone else that did. I very much appreciated that she was honest and referred me to someone else rather than giving me an answer that she wasn't confident in. After working with her on several occasions I can confidently say that she will be an important part of my team for years to come.

Dawn has provided me with legal consul three times. Twice over the phone and once in person. Issues discussed included employment, cross border employment, non-compete documents and legal ramifications of competing with former employers. She followed-up on each of our meetings with an email detailing our discussion. These included additional information she researched after our meetings as well as links to relevant laws or cases. This was extremely helpful. Her 'bedside manner' was professional and approachable. The law will always have 'grey' areas, Dawn presented these in a manageable way that allowed for effective decision making. Priceless.

Dawn Deans is so far removed from the "Greedy Lawyer" stereotype, which makes it a true pleasure to work with her. Many of her services are offered for a flat rate fee rather than by hourly billing, so her clients can know the total costs of certain services up front and not have to worry about their legal fees quickly (or unexpectedly) escalating. Dawn also encourages legal literacy to the extent that she explains everything she is doing on behalf of her clients to them, and she also lets her clients know when they are more than capable of filling in a simple or straightforward form by themselves (rather than incurring legal fees to have her fill it out on their behalf). "Fleecing" her clients for unnecessary fees or extraneous services seems positively foreign to Dawn. In our experiences working with her, she has been nothing but honest, forthright, and diligent. We have only glowing and positive things to say about her service! We enlisted Dawn's services when we were first deciding whether or not to incorporate our small business. Dawn walked us through the pros and cons of incorporation in a way that was accessible and easy for us to understand, but she didn't pressure us to make a decision one way or another. Once we decided to proceed with incorporation, she covered the legal aspects of this process on our behalves efficiently, professionally, and with great communication at every step. She has also been involved in drafting policies, terms and conditions, and client service agreements for us. It has been a delight to have our company's legal needs taken care of by somebody who is so knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. I truly feel like Dawn offers the best of both worlds when it comes to lawyers-- she is sharp and skilled in her field but she is also warm and compassionate as a person. She engages with her clients in a professional manner, of course, but she never seems to abandon her humanity, either. We would heartily endorse her services!
