Todd Allen helped me legally through a relocation case and is continuing to help finalize my divorce. He is knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything I was going through, and helped me confidently step into court.

Edited 1/23 to Update: The lawyers I have consulted since Todd's disastrous parenting plan have told me the one he prepared looks like it was written by opposing counsel. I wish I had hired an attorney with the experience and knowledge to provide better counsel. My experience in the family court system has been mostly a nightmare. But I'm grateful to have found more capable lawyers who have provided better advice, and have helped me to create and maintain boundaries against my abuser's continuing attempts to punish and control us. I want to clarify that I did receive a brief period (less than a year) of support from my ex, who made vastly more than I did when I finally got away. But I needed more help, especially with setting boundaries and standing up for myself. I was traumatized and terrified. I didn't have support, I was alone and scared. I had just spent almost 2 decades under intense coercive control, I was overmedicated for a condition I didn't have and I had never been allowed to say no to him. I needed help standing up for myself. I needed someone to help empower me with the knowledge I needed to legally protect myself and my daughter from him. Todd was not that person. And I will regret hiring him for the rest of my life. I came to Todd from an abusive marriage. I hired Todd to represent me. He took my ex husband’s demands and wrote them all into the decree. I was suffering from acute PTSD and severe gaslighting. I wrote up a long description of the history of abuse but it was ignored. My ex pays no child support or spousal maintenance while I am unable to work because of the disabling effects of diagnosed PTSD caused by my ex. After I began to suspect abuse of my daughter and returned to ask Todd for help in adjusting the parenting plan that he had written that favored my ex over me, he blew me off. I have a new lawyer who is attempting to fix the disaster that Todd left me with. I ended up paying 3500 for a lawyer (Todd) that benefitted my ex at my expense on top of another retainer for a new lawyer to fix this. Do yourself a favor and hire an experienced lawyer who will fight for their client.
