Back in 2019, I had some troubles come up in my life and I hired Craig Platt and Brent Thompson to be my lawyers. Mostly I interacted with Craig and I can tell you that he is an exceptional lawyer. Craig is kind, easy to talk to, and understanding. Craig took the time to get to know me and better understand my situation so he could work on the best possible outcome for me. Given that I was facing possible time, I found it extremely hard to not worry about the road ahead. However, Craig went above and beyond to make that road easy to travel on and represented me to the best of his ability with professionalism, dedication, and optimism. I know that Craig loves his work and I know he will do everything possible to fight for your rights. Craig’s dedication resulted in my charges being reduced to the lowest possible level and only having to go on a short probationary period before it was all dismissed with prejudice...something I didn’t think would have even been possible. Upon my charges being reduced, Brent Thompson took over and represented me in district court. Brent is also a superb lawyer who carries the same qualities of dedication and professionalism to the highest standards. Brent was on top of everything and made my transition and my second chance that much more smooth. That being said I would also highly recommend Brent. You will not be let down knowing that Brent is by your side in court on your behalf. I have nothing but good things to say about Craig and Brent. I would just like to pass along my great appreciation for Brent Thompson’s work on my recent case. Though we have just reached a resolution and my emotions are still a little exuberant at the moment, his excellent work is just as true now as it will be months from now when my exuberance may have subsided somewhat. Brent not only did an excellent job, he did so much more than just his job. He helped me navigate a very scary landscape while I was in a very unsteady state. He not only did his job he did it according to his high work ethic, his unimpeachable character, and most importantly his heart. He never just dismissed any of my extraneous, superfluous, or just mis-aimed questions. So much so that even when he was correct about my question about a beneficial change in the sentencing guidelines since my arrest not applying, he still investigated it and found a way to get everyone to buy into that resolution. That has made this a much easier pill to swallow. I also believe that he would have made a very persuasive argument for reasonable doubt if we had gone to trial. So my decision to instead accept the plea had nothing to do with my belief in Brent but only in obtaining the most guaranteed and least impactful resolution. Though, I am sure you already know this, I still wanted to tell you that you not only have an excellent, thorough, and tenacious lawyer in Mr. Thompson you also have a personable and caring man of the highest quality.
