Rico is a great attorney. I have used him more than once. I can't believe the other side's tactics, but through it all, Rico fought and won. It is not like the old days where you just submit a settlement proposal and you get a resolution. Every little thing is contested nowadays, and I'm glad I had Rico handling it.

I came to Rico with what he considered a "spaghetti marinara" case, involving injuries from two accidents with different types of responsible parties - basically a mess. Rico was very clear from the beginning about the specific steps he would take, how long it would take, and how much money I would walk away with. I was in a car accident of no fault of my own. It was minor but the insurance company only offered me a drop in the bucket. Rico assured me my case was worth much more. When I signed the papers to close the claim I walked away with my car fixed and almost six times the amount original offered.

I'd highly recommend Rico as a lawyer for any car accident case. Rico was excellent through out my entire case at explaining each step and all possible outcomes of them so I would understand what would happen moving forward. I have hired Mr. Tessandore for two separate accident cases. Each time he was professional, kind, and genuinely interested in getting the best outcome for me and my family. Equally important, he acts fast and gets results immediately. In my first case by the time I left his office after our first meeting I had a rental car and payment to replace my kids' car seats. In the second case he took on USAA Insurance when they tried to avoid paying a claim that was due to us. After we hired Mr. Tessandore, he immediately initiated action against USAA, and within a day we were paid the money we were owed. Rico represented me in a car accident that took place in Renton. The car accident was a pretty bad; I was taken the hospital. The other side denied that it was their fault. On top of that, three of the people in the other car claimed they were the actual driver. The other side did everything in their power to deny liability. The police report wasn't that clear, but Rico kept after it, hiring someone to investigate it. I thought for sure that there was no way we were going to win the case, but Rico's effort saved the day. Not only did the other side accept 100 percent liability, he was able to get policy limits and fight back my own insurance company. Great attorney and looked out for my best interests.

Rico was patient and realistic about my case. I was up against odds that as Rico said, “Only John Grisham could think up” and I knew it. It was a case no attorney, “high powered” legal firm or tribal attorney in Washington wanted to take on; I was a client whose civil, constitutional, medical and employment rights had been violated by a tribal government that stood behind sovereign immunity from being sued and blatantly had its insurance company refuse me necessary medical treatment for injuries I suffered in the line of duty as a police officer. Having kept meticulous notes and timelines I presented my case to Rico and we worked diligently to form a suit that should have been taken on by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Rico went out of his way obtaining additional credentials to represent me in tribal court and stood by me when no other firm or attorney would. We filed suit against the tribal government and its insurance company and upon presentation of our facts the tribe’s attorney suggested to the tribe and its insurance company to settle. Any person, attorney or legal firm that knows anything about U.S. and Tribal relations regarding tribes being sued knows this is a huge victory and is tantamount to suing a sovereign county and not breaking a bank in doing it. He will fight for your rights.
