After some shopping, my husband and I were making our way through the mall parking lot. We passed through a light, heading down a side street and I hadn’t quite put my seat belt on yet. Out of nowhere a car came head-on and crashed right into us. I flew forward onto my knees and hit my head on dash. Aside from neck and back injuries from being tousled around in the car, no one was seriously injured—physically. The young girl driving the car looked barely 16. It appeared that she has been texting and driving. She immediately called a friend and her dad, both of which verbally attacked my husband and I, although the accident was entirely her fault. Even the police officer seemed favor to the young girl. Physically, I was in pain, our car looked awful, and emotionally, I was traumatized. Immediately, my husband and I felt welcome and safe in their care. Everyone on their staff was friendly and easy to work with. It took months of chiropractic care and I still gasp when a car comes close to ours, but I can proudly say that all of our care was paid for and we even received compensation on top of that. When you are in a traumatic event, no one can give you back your peace of mind—there will always be unsafe drivers.
