Matthew Ennis is one of a kind. How often do you run into a skilled attorney who also happens to be a decent human being. First off, he created a fee agreement that took my run-down finances into account. Then, as we started working together – Matthew helped me with a complex severance agreement - he was patient in the extreme. And his legal advice was consistently spot on. Matthew is a sharp attorney and a compassionate psychologist rolled into one guy.

When my marriage was going down the tubes, I asked everyone about their attorney, and Dan was the best matched recommendation I got. I had another lawyer first (cost me $$ to fix all the they screwed up) because I could not find Dan. Dan was awesome from the get go-- Returned phone calls promptly (or if he had a case in trial would let me know). Great response time on emails. Just getting questions answered timely takes about 20% of the stress out of the experience-- Really, who puts needing to hire a divorce attorney on their life goal list? Dan gave me good advice, kept me grounded, and perceived through a high conflict divorce all the way through mediation (twice), a hearing about modification of the temporary parenting plan after over a year, and even the trial. Dan kept trying to settle my case, rather than push it out- which was the goal of my Ex husband. His time and work have value and need to be paid for, however I never felt that I was just a source of revenue. In the end, I got more than I ever asked for in the settlement. I spent some money on such a drawn out experience, but it ended up being about what I offered my Ex-husband to settle in the beginning-- and honestly, I still like Dan more. If it was going to cost that much, I am glad Dan got the money instead of the Ex! :} Whenever I hear of someone who needs a really good attorney who "gets it", I recommend Dan. He knows his stuff, he knows the other attorneys (the opponents), and he knows how to play the case depending on the judge he is in front of. ***ALSO IF THERE IS DV INVOLVED-- HE GETS IT-- and that is a huge and critical piece if that is an issue in your situation. One of my friends used Dan, and I got to watch him semi-objectively in her case. Honestly, I can not imagine that she could have come out with anything better than she got. He got her out of the state of Washington, without the location of where she and her child relocated to in the record, and got her convicted abuser labeled "intransigent" in the court records. I found Dan through my Pre-Paid Legal plan (now called Legal Shield), and just ask for him by name whenever I need a referral to an attorney. Wow- If you need a level headed warrior for your legal issue-- this is your guy!
