I called John Burleigh with an issue I was having with my HOA. John returned my call and went through a consultation with me and was very receptive to my situation and the information I presented. I could tell right away that he was an experienced and knowledgeable attorney. He walked me through my situation and gave me solid advice on what I should do. Although I have not retained his council, if I need to I would not look elsewhere.

Alysha is well versed in her expert area. She was excellent with her communications and handled the matter very professionally in court. I felt very confident in my case with her by my side.

Her response time usually took 3+ days for an email response back, I paid her $250 for an Hour consultation concerning my upcoming divorce, which we did a Zoom meeting for since the Corona Pandemic is going on. Wife then decided not to agree, and submitted paperwork to court without changing anything. I emailed Alysha about this, about 4 days later I received an email back stating that she was not "accepting" high conflict court cases? In our Zoom meeting she said if I needed anything else, paperwork, her to represent me etc.. that she would be happy to. And if I hired her for court etc, her "retainer" fee was $3800. I feel like she just wasted my time, and took my $250 with no intention of helping me. Now I have to look for another Lawyer, and go through to process all over. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I would not recommend her to anyone else.

I came to Alysha to help assist me a potential modification of my current parenting plan, which was not being honored. From the first day that I met with her, she presented herself professionally and displayed a great deal of knowledge towards my particular case and needs. Over the course of the next few months, time and time again, she patiently walked me through the process of my case and what our game plan should be and how it would best benefit my children. She was thorough, attentive and empathetic each and every interaction. Although I have ended up deciding on mediation instead, Alysha proved to me that she was more than capable of representing my children and myself with a great deal of passion and professionalism. I highly recommend her for all of your family law needs.

When I think of John Burleigh, the word integrity immediately comes to mind. He has an uncanny ability to unite parties with differing views and opinions with positive outcomes. For a layperson, understanding the nuances of home owner association law is daunting, if not impossible. John always proposes very sound, practical solutions to complex problems and is able to distill legal issues down to levels where homeowners can understand what the implications are -- not an easy task. Getting our community in shape was largely to John's guidance and support. You cannot and will NOT go wrong. I would not hesitate to hire him, and that is my highest recommendation.

It is great to work with John and his firm, he is willing to answer any question and provides a timely response. All COA and HOA boards I have referred to him are very pleased with his service and the knowledge he provides. It great to have an attorney like John who helps make your job easier and can provide excellent legal guidance.

Our new HOA president was a tin pot dictator. The rest of the Board was intimidated by him. He was getting away with murder. As a former Board president, I was used to getting the professional support I needed. But, as a unhappy owner, it was a whole different story.
