I've retained Dave on various legal issues for my business for about five years now. I first hired him to help deal with a breach of contract and he was able to resolve that without going to court or arbitration. What I most appreciate about Dave is he will neither talk down to me nor get caught up using jargon; instead of explaining things I can google for myself, he will explain what the actual legal issues are and provide insight coming from experience that aren't obvious to a layperson. I'm grateful for the fact that he's always been in my corner no matter how small the issue, and I have always been able to reach him whether I have a problem or just seeking advice. Do yourself a favor and hire the man!

I hired David to resolve a dispute between myself and an independent contractor. He was very knowledgeable in this area, and developed a solid legal theory. His 30+ years of experience showed, and the matter was resolved to my great satisfaction through mediation and post-mediation negotiations. In addition to his expertise, I appreciated his patience, honesty, willingness to go to bat for me (and take a more aggressive stance when one was called for), and to counsel me on potential short- and long-term consequences. I also appreciated that he was willing to work with me on my limited budget, so I did a lot of the detail work on my own. My attorney David helped execute a thorough, solid, and well planned and thought out LLC Operational Agreement which included three members with unique backgrounds and perspectives. He addressed all of our individual needs and concerns in a fashion where we all came to a reasonable agreement as he was an excellent listener and was able to eloquently draft up exactly the type of operational agreement we were hoping for. In addition, on the fly as a few new needs arose within the company, he created an integral addendum that served us well.
