Mark is a conscientious lawyer that listens to his clients perspective and follows up on the details laid out by his client. This is uncommon for a public defender. Mark remembers his clients after serving them. He fights for justice and is not afraid to tackle a challenging case by following the law. He is hands down one of the best attorneys I have ever worked with, and trust that I have experience in this department. I pushed for him to file a 3 6 hearing to challenge the police statement and he did. at the last minute, I took a deal but that was not what Mark suggested. He believed we had a fighting chance, I was just tired of fighting and living in addiction on the streets. A few years later, I had been arrested again and he saw me on a roster. He came to visit me and share some words of encouragement. We are still connected today. And, I am 10 years clean and thriving. I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. He could easily go into private practice and thrive, but he chooses to provide amazing service to those who cannot afford it.
