I had an excellent experience with CMS Law Firm. Scheduling a free consultation was easy and timely (i.e did not have to wait a month). Christopher provided critical insights on the potential impact that the Washington Estate Tax may have on my estate and he suggested a solution that would maximize the state exemptions for a married couple and thus maximize our generational wealth plan. Working with the CMS team on our Estate Plan went very well. They were very helpful with helping us understand all the moving parts, clarifying the process and language used, and offering advice but still accommodating if we wanted to do something that was a little atypical. Our process did take 5 months start to finish, which felt long... some of it was certainly the holidays being in the middle, some of it was our review/revision, and the delays weren't necessarily problematic for us as we weren't on a particular deadline, but seems like it could have been faster. Overall, happy with the team and the process.
