I always feel weird posting, because I don’t want to sound fake. It’s very stressful facing charges of any kind. Dan was easy to work with and made my case simple. He was extremely accommodating when it came to payment. Would definitely recommend if you want extra insurance were a public defender might not be the best option.

I highly suggest Dan Mellen as an attorney if you’ve been charged with a DUI. I unfortunately decided to drink and drive and got pulled over and arrested, with this being my 2nd DUI, and as many know a 2nd is a fairly serious charge. I was looking at several months in jail and the public defenders I was assigned did nearly nothing to help, on top of the fact that they kept getting changed on me every few months further delaying my case and sentencing. After doing some research and reading many stellar reviews about Dan I decided to meet and chat with him. I felt confident hiring him after we discussed my case and what I could do to avoid jail time. Dan walked me through all the steps needed regarding my case and was always communicating with me and going out of his way to make sure I was on top of things. Within no time I had my court date, something that had been pushed back over a year when dealing with public defenders, and Dan was able to get me into a program to avoid jail time. I cannot recommend Dan enough! He was truly a lifesaver!
