I wish I had never hired Lindsey Cotterell. He was never prepared, couldn't remember specifics about my case (divorce) and NEVER won any arguments in court even when the other side was in a blatant lie. Definitely got the feeling he didn't care and just wanted to get paid.

He was more responsive than other lawyers I've worked with. He handled the basic paperwork process well. He offered little help when it came to developing my legal strategy or preparing effective arguments. His knowledge of the relevant law was OK, but his ability to communicate it to me or the judge was poor and his ability to translate it to effective arguments was poor. His ability to effectively and clearly present and communicate my arguments verbally in court to the judge was lacking. His organizational skills in court were sloppy.

We found Lindsey D. Cotterell to be stunningly incompetent. He did not know basic law. His ability to communicate in an effective way was terrible. As a result of working with him we were financially damaged.

He really made me feel like he was working for me and not just a pay check. We won
