I really needed an attorney to help me amend a number of critical documents when experiencing a major change in my personal life. I just walked into the Scarff Law offices one morning after googling a family lawyer close to where I was at the time. I had the best experience from start to finish, with my first interaction being with Beth Miller and the rest of my experience being with Elizabeth Runtz. I could not have asked for, or received, better support both from a legal and inter-personal perspective. Elizabeth truly cared and showed immense empathy - all with a wonderful sense of humor. I have worked with this firm during the process of buying two practices and I have been very happy with their work. I find them to be fair in their pricing and know what to do when it is needed. There is another firm I am dealing with, as the buyer has their own, and I am surprised at the level of incompetence. Scarff Law is far superior and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

I had an issue with a past renter and while they were quick to send a letter informing my former tenant of the pending law suit, they were very slow to move on helping me collect my losses and when the guy moved the lawyer got back to me saying that the former tenant moved and they couldn’t find him. Really?? A law firm couldn’t find him, my wife found him in 15 minutes online, he had moved to Georgia and I had wasted thousands of dollars on their inability to act. So no I’m not happy, if you need something simple like an over rated certified letter that cost about a $1,000 +, fine waste your money because they did nothing more then pick up a phone or type up a letter but really did nothing to help me reclaim my losses.
