I had a verbal contract with elite roofing for $14,000 + tax to start work on the 17,18,ending on the 19th of August to replace my roof. After giving elite roofing company a $5,000.00 dollar deposit on the 10th of August, check was cashed on the 12th of August. On the 13 I asked for a contract, Mr Draper informed me that they would bring me the contract on Monday the 17th when they arrived to do the work. I rejected that idea and drove 20 miles on Friday the 14th to receive a written contract. I asked Mr Draper to add the scope of work.
