I was working with truce law on my custody case, from the start they were not keeping me up to date or answering my questions efficiently. They ran through the entire retainer and not one thing was filed for my case so I decided to part ways and asked them to file a withdrawal of service, which they have not done and it has been a week, and I am not able to continue on with my case until it is turned in. So I have contacted them and still not heard back. They also said in the contract they would let me know when the retainer dropped below a certain amount, which I would’ve chosen to discontinue service at that point, but again they did not until it was all gone and now they are trying to make me pay much more for “services done” after doing absolutely nothing with my 5 thousand, and they are not replying or giving me any explanation for why I was not notified or why they have not filed the notice of withdrawal. I honestly feel like I was completely scammed.

When we were married over 25 years ago, I was aware that the terms of my husband's divorce from his ex had provisions for a lifetime commitment to retain a life insurance policy to protect her from loss of income from his retirement, should he die before her. He has kept that commitment for 25+ years. As it has turned out, we all have lived beyond normal life expectancy, and the policy that has been in effect, is expiring, and he has become uninsurable except for a very few Insurance Companys, whose rates, if paid, would reduce his income to below poverty level. After calling some legal firms, who said we were "stuck", I talked to my brother, who was going through a divorce, and he suggested we call Pacific Northwest Family Law. When we called, the reception was very different!! We explained our situation and soon were introduced to Ms. Green, who understood and undertook the task of researching and developing a solution. Our case is still in process, and we feel confident that the outcome is going to be a much better circumstance than what we were facing.

I don’t even have the words… literally zero heart or empathy. This individual was cold and callus from the moment I started speaking to him. He acted burdened by the phone call and even abruptly said “can I call you back” and hung up to do something else when I was attempting to share my situation and seek out the best advice and representation with the intent to hire him on behalf of a loved one. I had to be the one to reach out again and despite the fact that I have the means and intent to hire him he acted as if I was wasting his time and ended up telling me he can’t “represent us” because I started asking very reasonable questions of potential outcomes and what the $6500 quote to represent the case would entail. Luckily. I’ve found another attorney fairly quickly after who actually had a SOUL and true passion for helping those in need. This guy acted like he was some hotshot Hollywood lawyer who was unable to process emotions and too good for the case. Just, avoid at literally all cost.

It’s been a while since my accident but wanted to share just how helpful Freeman Law was in this who process , I hadn’t even thought about retaining an attorney but so glad I did as I would have been left high and dry by the insurance company .
