No one wants to have to hire a lawyer. It is extremely stressful and can be financially taxing. However, Jennifer and her team were awesome. I was going through a divorce an there was a lot at stake. Jennifer made the process as streamline as possible. She was attentive, responsive and informative. If you are going through a family law issue and you are looking for an attorney - DO NOT HIRE ANYONE UNTIL YOU HAVE SPOKE WITH JEN.

My ex had two dui's and petitioned the court to get my daughter away from her mother. Both times I was denied. My ex continued to drink and cause problems for my daughters' well being. I had been beaten down by the family court system and had no hope that anything would change; I had already had three attorneys and spent over $25,000 which resulted in nothing changing. The courts did not even modify the parenting plan. Then I hired Jennifer Smith. Jennifer got me custody of my daughter and I never thought that would have been possible. Jennifer was up front and honest about the case. I never felt like she was telling me things to placate me and she is aggressive in the courtroom. I have. and will. continue to recommend Jennifer to anyone who is fighting for their child.

I can not thank Jennifer enough for what she did for our family. After a long 2 years of battling for my granddaughters to be returned to their mother we finally found an attorney that could help us. Jennifer was the 5th attorney we hired and I so wish we found her in the beginning. This case ended up going to trial. As she walked into the court room she stated " I am getting these girls back home" and she did just that. She worked hard on this case and gave her all. I hired Jennifer Smith and her team to take on my very complex dirty child custody case. When I met with Jennifer I had been thru Five attorneys , five retainers, five people who in some way or another let me down or made mistakes. When it comes to your kids you don’t want to hire someone who will make mistakes. I can not express enough how crucial it is to hire the correct representation early on in your case if you want to have positive results. I came to Jen confused and lost and hopeless. Child custody is heart wrenching. She met with me promptly, she guided me correctly, she told me exactly what needed to happen at my consultation. Unfortunately in my case it was to go to trial. My file was inches thick and confusing, she learned my case word for word better then I knew my case. She cares!!!! She cares about me and my kids and she believes me! It’s important to trust your attorney , in my case we were starting the beginning of a long relationship. My daughters were placed with their father after an altercation between their father and step father. We ended up going to a four day trial. She not only got the petitioners whole case dismissed, she did it with tenacity and grace. She was there for me day or night, she comforted me when I was scared, she took me and my family to lunch through out the entire trial, she treated me as if I mattered and she fought for me ... HARD. Not only is this attorney compassionate and driven , she is intelligent and knows law! She’s experienced with complicated cases, she will never be late for a dead line, she gets done what needs done so you don’t have to. You would think all attorneys do that but they don’t. My previous attorneys needed a lot of my help. Jen will guide you correctly you can count on that. Jen and her team got my children back for me after a two year long awful custody battle. She saved my life plain and simple. I love this woman and her entire firm! Please don’t waste your time with anyone else, when it comes to family law this is who you need!!!!

I can't give a better review of Jennifer and her team. There is an obvious reason she is rapidly becoming one of the top lawyers in the area. I went through multiple attorneys due to their ethical issues, incompetence, etc. By the grace of God, I found Ms. Smith. Jennifer took a very tough divorce, and has completely turned it around. The opposing attorney was not happy when she came on board, because she turned an easy Divorce for him, into something unwinnable for his client. Her work ethic, law knowledge, big heart, and awesome team makes her a very respected attorney in the court room. As painful as it was following her directions at times, I kept my faith in her, and it has totally turned out how she said it would if I played by her rules. Family law often isnt a matter of laws, but of emotionally made decisions, even in the court room. Jennifer knows what it takes to get the best rulings possible, especially in the cases with children.

I am really pleased with Ms. Smith and her entire office. Ms. Smith is attentive, caring and also direct - which I appreciated. Going through a divorce is extremely difficult, however, I felt as though I could trust my attorney, that she had my best interest at heart and that in was in great hands. If you are contemplating divorce you need to hire this lawyer.

I chose to go a different direction with my case so I did not hire her, however, she is very professional and supportive. Very knowledgable and will listen to your concerns. My consultation with her was a very positive experience.

I don't reccommend people lightly, but this is one person that I would reccommend to any of my friends or family. She is knowledgeable beyond what I have experienced with any other attorney and always happy to go the extra needed to get the what needs to be done, done. She is very responsive to requests and never seems to need to get back to me about any of the questions I have had for her. I have used the services of other attorneys who will say they will get back to me because they don't know the answer and I have also had attorneys not have to get back to me, only to find out later they misinformed me. Jen is neither of these. You can search around for another attorney, but save the time and skip the other attorneys consultation fees by checking with Jen first!
