I'm starting my own business and decided to hire Russell who was referred to me by other lawyers I knew. He works hard, clarified all my questions, created thorough documents, worked with my timing, and is always available when I reach out to him. Highly recommend him! Starting a business is thrilling and a bit of a leap of faith, but he provided the legal foundation I needed so I didn't have to worry about that side of it.

Russell represented me in a custody case. Out of several attorneys I consulted with, he was the only one who understood the law as it applied to my case. He is very approachable and genuinely cares about his clients. Although I changed attorney's mid case, it is not a negative reflection of Russell. An attorney who was more suited to my opponents attorney seemed like a better approach. This was simply my own perception and Russell was completely understanding. My case was extreme and very complex. I will say he is the only attorney I've met who had the courage to stand by me while I made a judgement call and disobeyed a court order for safety reasons for my child. He backed me and when it was done the court agreed with us, but it was a risk and he took it with me. At the end of our attorney client relationship, he and I disagreed on a particular tactic and I was unhappy with that single outcome, and because of that he waived the fees for that particular hearing. I've never heard of an attorney doing that! It is clear he has integrity, is extremely knowledgeable on the law and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I would Highly Recommend Russell Mikow... He was there when my sister and I needed him after my dad passed away... We had no clue what to do or where to start and he guided us threw our Probate with Skill and Tact... We learned a lot in this process... This guy is the first attorney that I felt kept close communication with me. Unfortunately many attorneys are too busy to converse and take time for their clients. Some will even drop the ball! Not Russell. He was very professional and knowledgeable and was open to many different types of defenses for my particular situation. I think his openness is what makes him such a great attorney and he actually LISTENS to his clients.
