I was referred to Ron Meyers by my union President and another fellow firefighter. It was a great decision. Ron and Mindy have been very professional. I could not have chosen a better firm to represent me. I believe they are the best! In my situation, I have cancerous lymphoma. It was necessary to get radiation treatment for it. The radiation treatment has caused numerous and serious degrading effects on me. I am up against a self-insured city and their insurance manager who appear to do everything in their power to get out of paying for legitimate claims. Ron and Mindy are not allowing them to do that. Ron Meyer and his team are nothing but professional, meticulous, tough and personable. In my case my employer denied a presumptive disease claim for malignant melanoma which I contracted as a consequence of my 35 years as a professional firefighter. He and his staff took the case all the way to the Washington State Supreme Court where we prevailed over the municipality. Ron has an acute, personal, knowledge of the hazards associated with firefighting which allows him to argue the exposure potentials facing all firefighters. All of his staff were tenacious and didn't back down on anything at all. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for this firm, especially Ron, Tim and Mindy. Thanks you guys!

I didn't think I needed a lawyer after my heart attack, but I had several fellow firefighters tell me, "Get Ron Meyers!" I did, and am I glad I did. The city would have walked all over me. Ron and his associate Mindy fought for me and are fluent in legalese. Most of the time I had no idea what the official paperwork was saying. The words were English but everything else was foreign. Mindy always had time for me whenever I called and patiently explained everything until I understood. Ron was in the legislature and helped write the law that affected me, so he knew all the ins and outs and nuances of it.They both helped with the small (to me) things that would have made a huge difference in the outcome if I had simply used the wrong word in the paperwork I had to fill out or interviews I had to attend. They took my case and emphasized from the beginning that the primary concern was my health and getting back to normal. They told me who I should respond to and if in doubt call them and they would let me know what to do. They did that very well. I had many questions and I contacted the office occasionally and they not only answered all of my questions but did not charge me extra for any of that. He always had time for me even though he had a busy schedule. The office was very friendly and prompt when I went there.
