My ex had requested a child support modification where she wanted almost 3x's what I was already paying and was way more then she needed! The state had already reviewed both of our incomes and expenses and had decided to double my child support, which I thought wasn't right either. I was in complete agreement that I should pay more but it still needed to be fair. At my consultation while reviewing the paperwork Jeremy noticed that the state did not take into accountability that I have another 2 biological children with my wife that I obviously help support and adding my other 2 children to the paperwork calculation should have lowered my child support amount to where is should have been. Not to mention that he told me that because I had been current on my child support payments for years I should have been claiming my child on my taxes every other year, I had no idea I could do this! My wife and I decided to hire Jeremy to get the child support payments where it needed to be, as hiring him would save us Lots of money in the long run and it did. Jeremy and his assistant Lindsey were always in communication with us about everything, it was great. They e-mailed or called us every time something new was going on and to keep us in the loop about what my ex , her attorney and the state wanted to do. And they didn't nickel and dime us every time they called, emailed or sent us something. In fact they only charged us for his time in court, with the other attorney or doing paperwork. Most attorneys I've ever dealt with charged me every time we spoke or emailed so it was so nice to get my bills and see that they were not doing this. By the time everything was done Jeremy got the child support payment amount EXACTLY where he said it should be when we first met at my first Consultation! My family and I are very happy with all the work that Jeremy and Lindsey did. I would hire him again in a heart beat and will recommend him in the future to anyone looking for a great attorney!

I hired Mr. Bishop for help with a mediation for a parenting plan that my ex and I no longer agreed to. I live in another state (my daughter was born there, and her dad lives there, all of our court documents have to be done in WA). I was very concerned about hiring an unknown lawyer that I would not get a chance to meet. I am so thankful that he was recommended to me. Right from the start, Mr. Bishop listened to my concerns, and fears about the case, and made me very comfortable. He never made me feel like I was taking up to much of his time with my concerns, and always answered my questions quickly and honestly. He did not make empty promises, and always told me what he thought would happen, even if it was not the outcome I wanted. He also worked with me on the child support hearings, and the outcome for the parenting plan and child support was very satisfying to me. I would recommend him to anyone looking to hire a family law attorney who cares about his clients! I will hire him in the future, if the need arises.

Jeremy handled my divorce case in 2010. He was very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Going through a divorce is hard, and Jeremy was able to answer all of my questions and give me advice. He also returned all of my calls promptly which is very hard to find these days. About twice a year I have a quick question about my parental plan or our divorce situation, and he always promptly eases my concerns. More importantly, Jeremy kept the process quick and simple, which avoided any stress on either party during the divorce. My former spouse and I maintain a relationship for the sake of our child, and it makes our day to day life much easier. I have also referred friends and family to Jeremy for Wills and Estate planning, and he has completed the projects quick, and at a fair price.

When I hired Mr. Bishop as my attorney I felt very sure that Mr. Bishop would have my back when the time came. In early January, Mr. Bishop was given all the required paperwork in he would need to file on my behalf. By mid-March he had failed to file these court documents in a timely manner required, resulting in the other legal side a complete win. After his failure, if I questioned Mr. Bishop he felt that I was being hostile. If I provided additional information that he did not specifically asked for then I was venting. His non-action in my case not only cost me the lost in court, a notice that I was fired as his client, and insulted by him. All of which I had to then pay him the sum of $856.00 in payment. I’ve kept all email and other correspondences to support this review. However, I must say that his assistant cares very much about his clients, Mr. Bishop cares more about his own feelings being hurt. He could have handled everything from the start much better than blaming his client for his failure.

Jeremy Bishop is an up and comming lawyer in this community. He is committed to helping in ways that go beyond the scope of practice. He refered me to a financial counselor and a personal counselor as I struggled through a very painful and confusing divorce. I can not say enough about this person and recommend him without reservation. I fired my previous lawer because she followed a cookbook and did not consider the things unique to my divorce. She fed me to the wolves. Jeremy was a breath of freash air. I felt he was on my side throughout the proceedings

I was suddenly served a notice to appear - my ex-husband was filing for 50/50 Custody of our two girls. The thought of such an arrangement was frightful since the girls had resided with me a majority of their life - 12 years. Luckily I chose to call Roach Law office and was assigned Jeremy Bishop as my attorney. From our very first meeting Jeremy was concise in his direction and what he felt were the best options I should go ahead with. He was very quick at following up with any issues discussed in our meetings. I usually had a response that same day. When it came time to argue our case to the Judge – Jeremy was amazing! He was able to recite my history, key facts as to why 50/50 was not the best option for the children, and recite quotes from the Ex’s testimony that proved it was not the best choice – and this was all with no notes!! The judge agreed with Jeremy in that 50/50 was not the best choice. With a lot of help from Jeremy’s assistant I was able to get a revised parenting plan that the ex agreed with. She also, was very responsive and followed up with any questions I may have had. I would strongly suggest that anyone needing a Family Law Attorney to choose Jeremy Bishop.

Jeremy represented me in a paternity/child support case. Aside from he and his personal assistant being unrepsonsive (waiting days even weeks to hear back) he would tell me the need to be at court was neglible but come back with results that didn't touch base on anything I had discussed with him in person and through letters. How can I trust my lawyer fully when he neglects to present information or follow through on the wants/needs of his client? He's quick to charge you for every minute of his time, though.
