Mark is so much more than just an attorney. I learned so much from him through my divorce process. If you are needing a high conflict divorce attorney, Mark is definitely who you should use. If there are children involved, Mark will offer you resources to help your children through the process also. Navigating the legal system is daunting and divorcing a narcissist is scary too, I trusted Mark to help me get through it and he did not disappoint!

This attorney is terrible. He's only after your retainer and will not talk to you for 10 seconds without billing you. I understand you have to bill to make money but at the rate he charges, he is terrible. Can't control a courtroom and the opposing judge or opposing lawyer eat him up.

He took the time to get to know our family's situation, And he was able to navigate it flawlessly.He has very has a vast knowledge of case law. Which proved crucial in my case. He has attentive and caring demeanor. He also holds understanding that these are very emotional situations. He will handle your case with care and attention to detail. All I can say is, I’m very grateful for his help . it has been life changing .

The fist time Mark helped me was in 2006-2006 for my divorce. He introduced me to understanding boundaries. Over the years, even currently, he has helped me through many troublesome issues. His mannerisms, wisdom and kind demeanor have helped me feel protected and safe to ask him for advice or to help me with different legal matters. He has helped me gain more understanding on attachment and different ways of thinking. His way with helping others learn and think is like nobody else I have come across in my lifetime. He wants to give people the ability to look deeper within their own experiences and begin to critically think for themselves. When I first met him, I was going through a lot, he introduced me to a couple books on boundaries. From that first meeting and through all these years, he’s been kind, understanding and thoughtful, always with intention to my growth, as I have noticed him do for others as well. He has always been a lawyer with more than the ability to assist in the courtroom. He aspires to help the whole person and strives to be a person with a good purpose of helping everyone (even the ones you’re up against in court) have a peaceful experience. I am grateful for him and that I have had the pleasure to experience his kind nature and wisdom.

Sleezeball. Files late if he even files at all. He caused my ex to get a restraining order violation due to his unprofessional behavior.

This guy spends more time and effort concerned about his AVVO ratings then he does about any concerns and questions his clients may have.

He does show up prepared in court and will work on his clients behalf. However meetings felt more like a therapy season, that could be because of he’s used to different clients. I’m blunt, blue collar and it was hard to communicate with him. (If I was a woman I’d have no problem hiring him) he needed better staff to give advice moving forward after a ruling as poor advice from one of his legal aids cost me in the long run which proved my point all along that family law in the state of Washington is a joke that doesn’t at all serve “your child’s best interest”

Mark Baumann is a champion defender against bullies. He took my case very seriously, took the time and much needed patience to get to know me to understand what I needed from him due to the complicated and painful circumstances that lead me to his door step. I learned so much from him regarding law and the choices I had that help guide me in my case, he did this with a respect for my conscience. He Does not suffer bullies well. I would recommend using him in complicated, high conflict cases. What a great guy to work with a straight forward person and honest.

I contacted Mark at 8:44am on Thursday March 7th, 2019! I told him a bit of an issue that I was in with a permanent order that placed on me through the courts, and was looking for some representation to help me get this squashed. He all of a sudden says “ look I have no idea what the hell you are talking about here buddy!”, after I was very clear of the issue that I was faced with. I then said to him, “wow, that’s a great way to talk to people”, I then asked if he was even interested in helping me get this resolved, because he was very rude with his remarks, and he ended up hanging up on me! His attitude towards me was completely unprofessional, and I would highly recommend to EVERYONE to contact a different attorney for representation, I could only imagine what Mark Kevin Baumann is like in the courtroom! He needs to focus a little less on making sure his hair is all pretty, and a WHOLE lot more on his customer service skills! There are a ton of attorneys out there that will treat you a whole lot better than this pretty boy!
