Tom is a great attorney who is very experienced in family law. He not only slammed the other party, he slammed the other attorney by catching his every mistake, missed deadline, and had the ability to quickly motion to strike when rules aren't followed. He is accurate in predicting how the court may rule and his judgement is spot on. His level of service is what you want from an attorney as a small practice. You get prompt and timely responses, honest billing, quality and attention to detail. I would highly suggest reaching out if you have a legal matter in his field of practice before calling a larger firm where you are left in the dark except when it's time to pay the bill.

We went to Consult him about our concerns. I had a lengthy story skipping around dates cos its from memory. He told me how much and what needed to be done. He was straight to the point and gave a lot of information in how to solve the problem and where we went wrong. Due to the amount we could not afford, we learned and went away happy. Good Job

First consult it was immediately apparent that he was colleague of and had spoken with opposing attorney. He used profanity and attempted to badger me for info to provide to opposing. After his unprofessional attempt to belittle me, he said he was unable to represent, which he knew before waisting my time to gather information. His representation supports my opinion about Pierce county and their clown courts.

Thomas helped me and and my wife with a child custody battle over my 7 year old twins. He was clever and seen things I did not see and communicated his angle and approach to my case with a very difficult ex that was trying to ruin me in every possible way. Amy, his legal assistant kept me informed and calm in tough times as well as she was there for us whenever I struggled with a question or expressed a concern to her. Both Tom and Amy are a great team and we are so blessed to have found them. Long story short, we got the outcome we were asking for which was AMAZING. All we wanted was access to our kids and he got us a 50/50 split. We pray every night and include them in our prayers and express our gratitude over the settlement. We will continue to use the "Law Office of Thomas Baldwin" if ever any other family law issue comes up.

Thomas and his staff were extremely helpful and patient with me. Having a lot of questions about divorce and what my best options were, Thomas was very cordial and explained things very well so that I could understand it all. He responded to everything very quickly and I truly felt that he had my best interests at heart.

Hired Thomas Baldwin to do the documents for an uncontested legal separation. The draft of the legal pleadings took some weeks on his part. However, the drafts contained significant errors (addresses incorrectly entered, missing VIN numbers, incorrect parcel number on the home, etc) which I had to catch and for which I was charged. When my husband was putting a lot of pressure on me to check when the changes I submitted to the attorney would be made, I called the attorney's office to explain the situation to the legal secretary because I did not receive responses to my emails to the attorney. She misrepresented the conversation to the attorney who then emailed and stated he would quit my case because he had some high priority trials to attend to and my uncontested agreement was a low priority for him. The office made no mention of their priorities when they asked for the retainer to take the case. Moreover, the attorney informed me that I would not find any other family attorney who would be willing to make my case a priority over other trials they might have. He offered to refund the balance money which was a very small amount and the office mailed it to the wrong address. Somehow, fortunately, the refund check was delivered to me. Not only was I able to hire another attorney right away, but their firm completed my agreement in one day and filed it in court the following day without any mishaps and errors. And did I mention that Thomas Baldwin didn't even have the courtesy to greet me when I saw him at his office while talking to his legal assistant (after I paid the retainer to hire him)? Please save your money, time, and energy and hire someone else.

I hired Mr. Baldwin to represent me in my divorce trial. He kept me informed every step of the way, always in constant communication and quickly returned any emails or messages that I left for him. He is a very wise man, who purposely built issues into my case that I didn’t care about. He used legal strategies to lead my ex into believing that he had won something, when in reality, it was something I couldn’t have cared less about. Again, very wise. I would definitely use him again, although I hope I never have that need.

Tom represented my husband and I in an unexpected attempt to gain custody of my stepchild. Tom was awesome! He was honest, direct and very hardworking. Both he and Amy, his paralegal, responded quickly to any requests and really worked hard to insure that the were represented well. This was a devastating time for us, so it was reassuring to have someone to trust and know has your best interest and the interest of your child in mind. Tom worked hard to insure not only that we had a voice to be heard, but that we were vindicated in this unsuccessful attempt to wrestle away our custody. Tom won our case and we couldn't be more thankful for what he was able to do for us. We most certainly would use him again and recommend him highly.
