“I was scheduled for a phone consultation weeks down the road from the day I set the appointment. Then I had to reschedule for personal traveling that left me unavailable. Naturally, this meant waiting an additional amount of time for a new opening. The morning of the newly rescheduled appointment finally arrived. I had taken time off work to be available. “I have been engaged with the firm since 2015/2016. Being a minority I wanted to support other minority firms but to be honest it's been the other way round from day 1. I have engaged with the firm regarding entrepreneurship, immigration, trademark, employee law and a number of other ad hoc issues which seem to crop up as you know. Shahzad is a lawyer par excellence with a heart of gold.He has saved me out of tough and sticky situations so many times with his expertise and genuine concern for helping out.”

Lack of transparency and hidden fees
“I attempted to hire this firm to do a Revocable Living Trust via my legal service LeagalEase, but I had to fire them before we even started. After a 10 minute consult, they sent me a NINE page agreement to sign, full of hidden fees and clauses that were quite clearly draconian (for example, giving them complete freedom to charge me any amount they like, for any additional service they decide, and charging me 36% APR if my payment is late by even a little bit).”
