James Dixon is thorough, professional, personable, and excellent at his job. He helped me with an automobile incident that resulted in a reduced charge and penalties. He returns calls and messages promptly and is accommodating with his schedule. I feel James has gone above and beyond as my attorney, and I highly recommend him.

Jim Dixon represented me in a case where I was being wrongly accused of domestic violence and violating a protection order. It was a very traumatic time for me. I felt like my whole life had been turned upside down and I wondered how our system could allow this to happen. When I was arrested on false allegations of felony violation of a domestic violence no contact order James Dixon exposed the truth and I was cleared of all charges and the case was dismissed. Jim Dixon has amazing attention to detail and an uncanny ability to expose lies and contradictions through a very methodical process of interviewing . This was in my situation what eventually lead to the dismissal of charges. Through out the whole nightmare Jim kept us informed of everything that was going on . He was always available for communication which can be very comforting at such a stressful time. When the state suggested a plea deal Jim never once encouraged me to take their offer. He was ready to fight for me at trial should duty call. One of the conditions of my release on bail was that I not leave the state . Unfortunately my job requires frequent travel . Jim was able to have this condition lifted and I even adjusted court dates around my work schedule . This was a huge help at a time when things were already bad. I actually lost one really good job as a result of the arrest .Jim was very compassionate , often times providing me with very positive advice and optimism . I feel he was very fair and honest with all of the fees I just can not say enough good things about Jim, a true professional in every aspect . Although I knew I was innocent all along. The criminal justice system can be very scary place, the wheels turn slowly . Having the right person in your corner is critical . I am so glad we chose Jim Dixon . I hope that I never need a lawyer again But if I do Jim Dixon is my man.

I have seen Mr. Dixon in action and he is a master in the courtroom. He came highly recommended in 2006 and I have taken things to him ever since. I was arrested for a legal medical marijuana grow in 2009. $500,000 worth of my assets were seized by a corrupt drug task force. My immediate family has three attorneys in it, (one a retired Judge) so I am not someone who is unfamiliar with the legal system. I worked very closely with Jim over the next 5 years exposing the illegal activity of the task force. (Thousands of hours) Jim is not only the most brilliant legal mind I have ever had the pleasure of working with he is a man who truly believes in justice. Jim worked tirelessly on our case often at a reduced rate because he knew we were financially strapped and what he was doing was the right thing for justice to prevail. He has an extremely strong courtroom presence and thinks incredibly fast when thrown curve balls in the courtroom. Jim argued brilliantly during 9 days of a suppression/ Franks/ Governmental misconduct hearing. We won the motion. The state appealed the decision and Jim argued the appeal. We just received a unanimous decision from the court of appeals in our favor. THANK YOU JIM!! Without your incredible work and generosity we would of went down the path so many do and lost everything.

Jim Dixon is a good guy, but a GREAT attorney. I came to him with an extremely complicated case regarding bias and prejudice within my neighborhood and the court. I had previously fired my attorney on this case for lack of action and Jim more than made up for the lost time in my case. Upon consultation I got a good sense that Jim was a sharp advocate by asking many questions that he was very open and honest about and the preparation for my case was done in an informative and well structured format that I really appreciated. Jim's office is nice and his staff and coworkers are a pleasure to be around. Jim's partner is a very nice and very sharp lady as well. But the true telling of what a fantastic lawyer Jim is came at the time we all need it most. That time is when it comes to standing up for you in front of a judge and prosecutor. This is where I have been the victim of and seen many cases take a hard turn for the worse as the judge or prosecutor argues his case about you. It's this tense set of minutes that can make or break a case. At the part in my case where everything could have gone wrong and historically has for me , Jim used sharp intellect to influence the court from any detrimental course and defined the meaning of the word " advocate" . At no point did he let anything negative stand on me and tipped the scales back in my favor by knowing and arguing the facts in my case tactfully and aggressively as they were presented against me. Even if my outcome had been less than desirable I would've been impressed with Jim's performance on my case. I could not recommend Jim more as a great guy to work with if you find yourself in a situation needing legal help. Jim has a strong moral conscious and doesn't make you play the guessing game about time frames, money, or contacts. I wouldn't recommend anyone I know to go anywhere else based on the real investment I feel Jim makes in his work. I just wish I had hired Jim sooner so I could've got the results I got from his hard work earlier.

I was recently charged with a domestic violence assault two felony. I was facing up to ten years in prison for something I didn't do. I also had a civil suit filed against me. When I first meet with Jim I knew right away he was the one to help me. He proved everything I told him. The case was dismissed against me. which is never done in a domestic violence case of this nature. And the civil suit was dropped. I thank god every day for what this man has done for me. The case ended in court and with Jim fighting on my behalf I ultimately received justice. Though I hope I never need Jim's services again, it's reassuring to know he's there.
