Mark was awesome! He helped me vacate a misdemeanor so that I can get a second chance and move on with my life. He knew the statute well and how to represent my case. He was very quick and thorough in preparation and because of his bullet proof motion and supporting docs, the judge granted the motion. Mark didn't stop there, he followed up with the court clerks and Washington Patrol to follow up on my case so my record is cleared and the vacated case info doesn't show up in background checks. He proactively followed up with relevant authorities and kept me updated via emails and phone calls along the way. All for a low flat fee! I highly recommend Mark for any of your defence needs.

We were led to Mark during a legal infraction connected with a mental health crisis for our daughter. We were not from the area and had no experience with the legal system. Several years ago, Mark was my public defender for a DUI case and was miraculously able to make a deal with the prosecutor outside of court to reduce the sentence to Reckless Driving with minimal consequences. Mark was referred to me through my family law lawyer when a criminal charge was brought against me. Mark took swift action and acted on my behalf before I even had time to consult with him in person. He took a calculated position to gain information and form a plan to give us the best option for defense. He communicated with me and officials at every step of the process. I was forced into a situation I didn’t see ending well when I first got my charge, I had a public defender before who didn’t make me feel to comfortable. Midway through I was appoint Mr.Middaugh and from the gate he made me feel ten times more confident going forward, he always explained everything including my options very well so I was prepared for what’s to come. I did everything he’s told me and was giving nothing but great results! Praying I never need a lawyer again but if I do I would for sure call him or recommend him to anyone looking you will not be disappointed!

Mark Middaugh went out of his way to help me out, gave me good advise. I guess if you actually listen to him and do the things, he tells you. He talks a big game and does a good job selling himself, but once you hire him as your public defender he does a complete 180. Does the bare minimum required of him and by bare minimum I mean next to nothing, his method is to try to terrorize you into taking any deal, bad, terrible it does not matter as long as you're out of his hair and it's on to the next unfortunate client. On top of that he completely twists everything you say to his benefit and has the nerve to insinuates to your face that you have said something you never did when you call him out on it. I cannot stress enough what a complete nightmare it was having him as my advocate, and I'm using the term advocate very loosely in this case. If you want an honest lawyer who will have your back and fight for you this is not him. Keep looking.
