I chose HKM attorneys to assist with a very intimidating issue with an employer. I was hesitant of seeking an attorney initially because I was afraid of being ignored and the details involving my case had a very emotional impact on me. From the beginning Henry took time to really listen and understand my case. He and Klarisse were very responsive, professional and kept me informed of everything involved in my case. I honestly wish none of this had happened but I felt confident throughout my case that I had chosen the best team. I’m sincerely grateful to Henry and Klarisse and everyone else who assisted. Without a doubt I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with employer issues.

I spoke with Dan today and he was really nice and sincere. He listened to me and even suggested other options that I could use before paying expensive lawyer fees and I really appreciate that. He also told me to contact him directly if I have any other issues. I have saved his info in my phone because considering where I work at, I am sure to need him in the future. I do recommend him if you have any issues and need to speak with an attorney.

She was extremely helpful and provided me with support right from the start. Cody Reinberg was the attorney assigned to my case and is licensed in both, Illinois as well as Missouri. This provided me with a sense of relief and confidence as my employer has companies in both states. Cody walked me through legal strategies, options and my severance agreement. Cody was genuine, honest and personable. He communicated in a language I could understand which was reassuring and he explained the “why” behind his thoughts, concerns and questions. Initially it took over a month for HKM to tell me that they were not going to take my case. However, after my initial review one of their lawyers Jason Rittereiser reached out to me to discuss my case. Jason was great and even though they still were not able to help me, because of the way the law works, I would still recommend him.

I worked with Rachel throughout one of the most difficult experiences I’ve encountered, and I must say, she and her team helped me to feel confident and cared for throughout the entire process, from support through depositions, detailed explanations of legal paperwork, to phone calls just to check in on how I was doing.
