Paid for a consultation ($650), he agreed to represent me and that I had a valid claim. Asked for a retainer to be paid in advance. Months later when he finally began work, he asked me a few questions and decided he couldn't help me. Feels like a scam, seriously lacking legal knowledge and expertiseon strategy. I had to spend thousands of dollars for him to determine he couldn't help me. Would give zero stars if I could, hope to find a competent lawyer this time around.

I don't think my situation was his normal work. It was an employment law matter, but did not involve a problem. I was asking for a review of my employment agreement. But he was gracious and helped me out nonetheless. Super professional and very helpful at a fantastic price since he doesn't have the big firm overhead. I would absolutely recommend talking to him on employment matters.

I hired Michael Subit to represent me in some issues with my employer. I paid the legal bills but it seemed like much of the time he was working for the other party and not me.

Mr. Subit took on my employer harassment case when other lawyers said it was too hard. He always responded to emails in a very timely manner, it was easy to work with him. His skill and knowledge working through the arbitration were amazing to witness. Thank you, Mr. Subit!

Mr Subit took time out of his busy schedule while out of town on business to reach out to me via phone to give advice and direct me to a party to help me.
My discrimination case involved my child and it is not in his scope of practice.
This kind of accountability is rare in our culture today to help someone in business without anything in it for yourself.
I appreciate this very much and feel I have powerful information and assistance now to help my 9 year old.’s case.
Thank you
Kate

I hired Mr. Subit to help me understand and negotiate a severance package which included a protective covenants (non-compete) section that was likely to be onerous for my future employment if I agreed to it.
He helped me clearly understand the risks and my best option. His responses were timely, clear, and articulate.
I highly recommend his services an an employment attorney.

Mike negotiated a favorable wrongful termination settlement on my behalf, I was pleased with the outcome. His bias - which I appreciate and affirm - is to facilitate an amiable settlement (rather than rush to court). Well known and connected in the Seattle legal community which helps attorney-to-attorney communication. Very smart and knowledgeable of employment law. Personable and approachable. Didn't pull punches - called spades spades - in our consultations, articulating options and associated risks well for me without pushing in one direction over another. Worked efficiently which kept fees under control. No question I'd re-engage Mike should another employment-related need for counsel ever arise.

Worked with Mr. Subit after wrongful termination. Successfully negotiated settlement. Mr. Subit was an incredibly strong advocate. Felt incredibly supported by Mr. Subit at a very stressful time.

Mike was successful in litigating claims related to the glass ceiling and employment discrimination. He is highly effective in advocating for employment rights for employees facing discrimination or unlawful termination. I would highly recommend his services as an employment attorney to prospective clients facing unfair labor practices at Fortune 100 corporations. This recommendation is based on my personal experience as a client. He was initially recommended to me by personal connection who is a top corporate attorney and I believe the recommendation was a good one.
