Cassandra Stamm went above and beyond our expectations each step of the way. Our family was going through a very emotional and scary time and had never had an encounter with any part of our legal system. We assumed that our lawyer was going to be an expensive, stressful, hands off piece of this puzzle that was going to make the felony charges even more daunting. Cassandra Stamm was the exact opposite. She was a tremendous support system as she assisted us in navigating the legal proceedings, court dates, assessments, and bargaining. Beginning with our first phone call, Casey was organized and confident, thorough, patient, and prepared. We appreciated and valued her directness, honesty, and conciseness however she was readily available for all of our questions and concerns. Ms. Stamm went above and beyond to make sure all of us were informed about where the case was and where she anticipated it heading and getting us connected with the support we needed at the time outside of the legal realm. She was always steps ahead of what we were thinking about at the time and she was always ahead of the game. If you have the good fortune to read this and have not yet hired Casey, I say RUN don't walk to any opportunity to have her represent you. Before I hired Casey, I was represented by a mediocre attorney until I realized I needed a smarter, stronger advocate. As such, I interviewed the most reputable attorneys in town and upon meeting Casey it was apparent that she was several notches above most every defense attorney I interviewed. During our interview, she answered every one of my questions intelligently and succinctly without any evasion. I immediately wanted to hire her and since then, I was never disappointed in how she handled my case. Rather, I was impressed by how strategic she was. At all points, her predictions on how the events in my case would play out came to fruition. Casey knew how to request evidence and obtain subpoenas when the Prosecution and the "Victim" held information back. She knew when to push on the key players and when to lay back. As a result, I trusted her implicitly as should anyone who is lucky enough to hire Casey. I have had many transactions with attorneys throughout my life and trust me, it is not easy to find one who possesses Casey's combination of talents, If an attorney is a good writer, they are not always a strong in court. And finding a strategic thinker who can write or litigate well is even more difficult. It is rare to find an attorney who is a strategic thinker, strong writer and articulate in front of a judge all wrapped in one. Casey IS that attorney. My case turned out well, in the end my case was dismissed as Casey predicted. She was even slightly cheaper than that mediocre attorney I hired in the first place. As I said, RUN don't walk to hire Casey. She is truly amazing and feel blessed to have had her on my side.

I was falsely accused of a crime when I caught my ex-girlfriend of embezzeling my mortgage payments. From the start, Ms. Stamm took my concerns seriously and reassured me that this would ultimately be a small bump in my life. She thoroughly investigated the allegations and presented evidence to the prosecutor's office showing that I was the victim of someone trying to save themself. I while back I found myself facing serious criminal charges. It did not take very many phone calls to hear Casey Stamm recommended by multiple sources, and now I know why. I felt that I was in a predicament when the Department of Justice got serious about charges. I has used Casey before but not to the extent that her talents were discovered. (It is like driving a Porsche at 30mph. It doesn't act differently than other cars.) I asked some of the most senior criminal attorneys in Seattle who they would recommend and ended up back with Casey again. Where her talents became known was (1) helping come to the decision that a plea agreement was in my own best interests, and (2) in her preparation and assistance with the sentencing hearing. Her sentencing memo was the most articulate and persuasive rendering of my case that anyone had written in the past four years and her work with all involved was convincing and directive. Regardless of what happened during sentencing I felt like we had put our best foot forward and achieved as much as we could. I felt at peace with the outcome.

Involved with an alleged bar fight and needed immediate legal assistance. Called Ms. Stamm and worked with her via phone for the entire process, as I am an out-of-state client. Casey did a tremendous job helping me get through a very difficult situation last year. All said and done she was able to get a felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor and eventually dismissed. This was the first time that I had got into any serious legal trouble as an adult and was very worried about it ruining my career or even having to go to jail. We called Ms. Stamm after our son had a domestic violence charge in a complex situation. It was his first charge and we didn't know what to do or how to help him. Fortunately someone gave us Ms Stamm's name. Right from the first meeting I knew that she was a professional and knew what to do. She is direct, organized, and knew how to talk to my son who was reticent to talk about the situation with anyone.
