I fought my case for 2 years and am grateful for having Shira represent me. Shira communicated with me about everything going on with my case. Any changes, or ideas were communicated and she would ask how I felt and would like to proceed. She fought for me and didn't do anything without my approval. She treated me with respect and would make sure I understood and agreed with what was going on. Shira made me feel like I was her only client and I know I wasn't. Without Shira I feel my case would have turned out differently.

Shira came highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed. From the first meeting until the completion of the case, we felt like we had the best representation money can buy. Thank you Shira!!!

We had a legal matter with a local school and from previous reviews Bridget seemed to be the person to go to. We were not disappointed and from the first conversation on she had realistic answers for us about what would or would not work for our case, what we could reasonably ask for and how to best go about it. She also kept expectations realistic and prepared us for the possible ways this could play out, from best case scenario to a more lengthy process. While a little tucked away and up a flight of stairs through the back her office was otherwise easy to find. Her staff, specifically Linda, are fantastic. If there if there is anything that could have been better than it is maybe the time it took to get the initial letter out, but I strongly believe this is due to her being thought after and busy. For very good reasons. We are very happy with Bridget's representation for us.

I sincerely can't say enough for how much we appreciate the work of Ms. Bourgette Shaw on behalf of our son and our family. She helped us through an extremely stressful time with our son's school. We felt she advocated for him as if he was her own son. She was so sharp and very accessible/flexible when it came to meeting times and email correspondence. We highly recommend her for educational and civil rights issues.

Our family hired Bridget and team due to reviews and research online. We have been struggling with two of our grandsons IEP's and defiance from the school in helping or even getting their IEP's updated and reviewed properly, they are 10 and 7. There was bullying in which the oldest ended up at the Dr. office, a person threatening to "kill" him and consistent obstruction with his teacher. She would call him out in front of the class which caused more issues. The principle and vice principle were blaming all on him when in fact these issues where happening due to the school and the staff not conforming to his IEP from his previous school nor again updating in a timely manner. Once Bridget got involved and showed up to the IEP with us, things changed dramatically. She called out items I was not even aware of and held them and the district accountable. 3 meetings later with her in attendance at each we are in a much better place. I will continually update and keep her posted and on speed dial. She is just an amazing women and really in this position to help families and children and nothing else. Thank you Bridget !!

Bridget and the team at Shaw Law Group did an outstanding job of representing my family for our son's complex IEP. Shira is a really amazing lawyer. Over the course of a year, I was charged with 5 crimes in Seattle. All of it was bogus. Shira got 4 of the 5 charges totally dismissed, but the City of Seattle wanted to take the last charge to trial. After a two day full trial, the jury gave me an acquittal after only a few minutes of deliberation. Shira did a masterful job throughout the entire process in both negotiating with the city, as well as digging in to fight the hard fight in trial. She helped to save my business. I give her my highest recommendation.
