Me and my family were going though really tough time under many threats regarding DV case and we had no guidelines until I reached to Julia Simmons. She was easy to access and informed me about the legal details and motivated me to be strong and fight harder. Also, gave me an assurance to reach her whenever needed.

I had a problem with the California Department of Justice having incorrect information (concerning my criminal background information) and wanted to know what I needed to do to correct the misinformation. Julia obviously knew her stuff, and after listening to my questions, asking a few of her own, simply asked me, "Do you have pen and paper?" She then walked me through each possible scenario which may arise, what documents I would need to obtain, and how to obtain them. She told me what information I could obtain myself, and under which circumstances I would need to hire an attorney. I'm just taking the first steps now, but should one of the aforementioned scenarios play out in which I did need an attorney, I would not hesitate to hire Julia for a second. Her knowledge of criminal law in both California and Washington state is truly astounding. She also knew all federal law implications... I never thought but best experience of the day would be spent with an attorney; it was, however, and I would recommend her to any and everyone!

I can’t even begin to describe the difference between Julia and other attorneys. Most attorneys are unapproachable, too formal, speak legal terminology, and lack emotion. Julia is in full communication herself and shows me ways that she relates to me. Julia has a balance of legal expertise combined with the strongest communication skills and emotional intelligence, which sets her apart from the rest. I am strong willed and had reached out to Julia previously and she told me news I didn’t want to accept. I went about it my way and it ended exactly as Julia told me it would. She doesn’t sugar coat the news like I’ve seen from most every other attorney for 15 years. You have to trust that she has nothing to gain by telling you unfortunate facts. When I needed a DMV attorney this year, I was basically begging Julia. I personally know over a dozen attorneys and have countless resources but I wouldn’t have trusted any other attorney to handle the case. Every attorney I know is procedurally driven while Julia is goal driven. Any attorney can hold your hand through legal proceedings, the legal proceedings will in fact proceed regardless of whether or not you have an attorney. It’s the actions your attorney takes or doesn’t take that makes the difference in your outcome. Choosing an attorney is like a game of chess. The sooner you bring them in, the better chance they have at a winning strategy. The more you continue on, the harder it is for them to play their game.

Having spoken with Atty. Simmons regarding a CA DUI a couple of years ago and getting a family recommended DUI atty instead, I can not stress how much easier Atty Simmons and her firm will make your life just going straight to hiring them. Julia Simmons is an attorney anyone and everyone should hire. She helped me through the roughest time in my life.
