I retained Peter last year to create a will and trust. He was great at answering all my questions. He was easy to work with from the initial consult to signing the final documents. His fees were very fair, and I would happily retain him again if I needed legal services.

Eric has help my elderly 88 year old Mother through some very challenging legal matters. My Mother is kind and gentle but she cannot hear very well, so she will talk over you. Eric has been very patient kind and caring, helping her and explaining to her all the legal matters and documents. She had a Living trust over her property that she didn't remember having and she had lost the documents. Eric did extensive research, created new documents, and helped her get her property back into her personal hands so that her Will could be effective. He helped her and the family with her will, and POA's for healthcare and her estate, which has 6 beneficiaries. Eric even came over to her house on his day off, with a witness to help my Mom sign her documents, and spent time talking and listening to her. Recently Eric helped my Mom to get out of 2 predatory timeshares in Hawaii that she hasn't been able to use for 10 years. He did the extensive research and found these Living trusts (in Hawaii), and arranged to meet my Mom in his Parking lot, in our truck to sign the documents. This was at the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic. Eric brought two associates to witness her signing the documents. They all showed alot of patience with my Mom. Eric has the best, most kind and caring service that one can find. I believe he is the most unselfish and caring Attorney anywhere. Very nice man, and reasonable rates He does estate planning, wills, etc. Some things he charges by the hour, others he charges by a set price.Depends on what he's doing for you. I've used him for 4 things over the last 5 years and highly recommend him!

This attorney, great person! We had never met or spoken with Peter Cowles before today. Still, he took the time to listen to the details of our very complex legal dilemma and rather than try to take advantage of our situation, like many other lawyers have tried to do, he honestly stated that our needs were a bit out of his practice area and that he'd try to think of someone with the appropriate experience and get back to us. Naturally, we never expected to hear from him again. Hours later on a Friday afternoon, while on a call with yet another attorney, several calls from an unknown number come in and go to voicemail. You can imagine our surprise when we called the number back and it's Peter. He had actually followed up on what he said he'd do. He made a few calls and had three different attorneys that had experience winning cases similar to the one we find ourselves in currently. We're reaching out, Thanks Peter! Eric was relaxed and friendly in demeanor while drawing up a will and supporting documents. He listened and explained clearly. He was alert to legal issues and asked for input. He was ready and done when he said he would be done. Professional experience with a very nice man. He enjoys his work! And his charges were very reasonable.
