I first consulted Sara regarding a collaborative divorce. I found her to be extremely ethical, straight forward and upfront about her services, expectations and billing process. She is a true believer in the collaborative process and will only take on collaborative cases. While I was already sold on the collaborative process, my spouse (ex-spouse now) was not... Sara provided a wealth of literature on the subject and even offered to discuss the collaborative process with my spouse. She was far more concerned with an amicable dissolution with a priority being placed on my son's well-being, then padding her bank account. Unfortunately, a collaborative divorce was not in the cards, and I was unable to use Sara's services. However, approximately 18 months after my initial consultation, I found myself in desperate need of some family law legal advice at 6:30 p.m. on a Thursday night. I emailed Sara as a last resort - she emailed me back in 10 minutes (keep in mind I had not seen or talked to her in over 18 months...) . Anyway she provided me with the advice I was seeking and would not accept payment. It was like a page out of a Les Schwab commercial!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sara Wahl. She is a truly compassionate professional who is a family law attorney for the right reason. Also, I would strongly encourage anyone who is going through the dissolution process to give careful consideration to the collaborative process - nobody wins being litigious.

My husband and I were in agreement on how we would divide the debts, assets, and our parenting plan, I just needed help typing up the paperwork.
