I had been having a very difficult time trying to find an Elder Law Attorney for my parent, earlier this year. I called Northwest Elder Law Group and left a message to see if someone could help me and my sibling with an unusual situation in regards to our parent. I understand that practically every law office had been busy with either guardianship/conservatorship cases or just overloaded with clients. My sibling was able to connect with Northwest Elder Law Group a week later and we were so lucky that Ms.Julia Lindeman decided to take on our case for our elderly parent. I cannot say enough about this hard working individual. Ms. Lindeman took on our case, with the time that she had (which to me, did not feel like a lot of time), and prepared herself well with the assistance of her paralegal. Ms. Lindeman and her paralegal are thorough at what they do. She took time to talk to each person that she felt could actively & positively play an important role for our situation regarding our parent. She took time out of her busy schedule to talk and really listen to what my sibling and I had to say when we needed to explain our situation. She's efficient and effective. I was very impressed on how well she represented us in court for our parent. I am so thankful for Julia Lindeman! I submitted a Temporary Vulnerable Protection Order and naively thought I could finish the process myself. When I realized I was in over my head, I called the NW Elder Law Group and Ms. Lindeman listened, gave me up-front advice, was kind, empathetic, and explained everything so well without making me feel stupid. I felt she was very smart absorbing all the people in our situation, thoroughly understood the law, helped us cull the most important data in our case, and knew how to build our case in court. I am so thankful for Attorney Julia Lindeman and Paralegal Shehana Buksh with Northwest Elder Law Group for finding me a third party guardian/conservator for my aunt. It was not an easy case but Julia did not give up. We worked together and she and Shehana kept me apprised of updates in the “petitioning the court” process, answering my questions promptly. In the end Julia succeeded. They were a godsend. Catie Light
