I was facing a very difficult and scary case, and did not know what the outcome would be. I am very thankful to God for bringing Josh Saunders into this case. I don’t have the words to express all the work and knowledge that Josh brought to the case for me. He worked with an amazing team to fight for me and clear my name. He was able to get my case DISMISSED! He is very thoughtful, polite, respectful, caring, and has great knowledge of the criminal justice system. If there was something he didn’t know or understand, he would make sure to look it up and study the subject or matter. With me living out of the state of Washington, he made sure to accommodate the time difference, even if it meant he would have to wake up earlier to set up calls or meetings with me. I contacted the Marshall Defense Firm when I and other members of my family were falsely accused of criminal activity. It was a devastating and frightening time. We contacted Joshua for a particularly sticky situation where we had been given guardianship of our godson due to some issues with both his and his families behavior. I was falsely accused of sexual assault. I had previously never interacted with the criminal justice system and all of a sudden, I found myself sifting through online reviews of criminal defense attorneys. His remarkable ability to see me as a human coping with the looming possibility of a charge, seeing me carrying the burden of it, reassuring me with the facts but never overpromising or departing for reality, reminding me that I was innocent, reminding me of all the great work we had done so far, going that extra mile for me even though it would have been sufficient to just sit back and wait, ultimately calling me one day to tell me that it was behind me and so much more! We woke up one morning to the horrific situation of our 19 year old son being arrested with a possible charge, that if convicted, would have changed this young mans life for the rest of his life. He hadn’t even graduated high school yet. Very scared and confused, we contacted the law office of Marshall Defense Firm. I found that an investigation somehow had me named as potentially involved.
