Spencer is very knowledgeable of the law, the judges ruling patterns, and HE CARES about the kids. He’s an aggressive attorney that will fight hard for what is right and he will not be afraid to call his clients out if they are being unreasonable. Spencer took on my case when nobody else would because it was a mess. When watching his first court hearing, I knew within 30 seconds we were going to win. He went in strong, had studied my case thoroughly going back 7 years. He remembered pertinent details and he represented my son in that court room that day. He did an incredible job. Joanne, his right hand is just as incredible. She remembers details, she’s prompt to respond and overall just above and beyond professional. I highly recommend this duo for high conflict custody situations. They will handle your case with care, integrity, and exceptional knowledge.

I hired Spencer after feeling pushed aside by two other previous lawyers. Spencer and Joann made me feel welcome and are always willing to communicate with me regarding my case. What I appreciated the most was the no nonsense approach that Spencer had in dealing with my divorce case. He laid it all out in plain black and white or without sugar coating the situation and I knew where I stood in my legal situation. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, and Spencer only confirms that belief. In situations like divorce that are unpleasant, choosing a lawyer that has your back, communicates, does not make you feel like you are on the back burner, and is honest about your case is what you need. I would highly recommend Mr. Harrington as a lawyer.  I hired him to represent me in my divorce/custody battle and was very pleased with how he fought for me.  He gave me very helpful advice and was always one step ahead of the other party.  Mr. Harrington fought hard but still upheld integrity.  I have had some dealings with other lawyers who have acted very shady and I had a sense that they just wanted to take my money.  That was not the case with Mr. Harrington, he was straightforward and trustworthy.  I really appreciated being able to call Joanne, his paralegal and ask questions at any time for a cheaper rate as well.  In the end, I got what I originally had asked for and my children are safe with me. 

Spencer and Joanne were amazing in a stressful situation. He seemed to be the only lawyer I talked to that didn't seem bothered by the fact that my ex had hired Matt. He was good at being aggressive when I was not because I was such a pushover. Considering the circumstances i had the best possible outcome!

It was not an easy time at all, and they helped me navigate the process, manage my expectations, help me to be patient, and eventually get the best outcome available to me. Spencer and Joanne helped me navigate a high conflict divorce. Spencer helped gain more time with my children and kept me from paying an additional $60,000 to my ex. Spencer also proved my ex to be the liar she is. Spencer and Joanne are very professional and get the job done.

Spencer is an absolute bulldog. He represented me in my divorce, which my ex dragged out over two years. Through false accusations of abuse and many, many other lies by my ex, Spencer was able to expose her lies to the court, and not only was I able to get my house back, but got much more time with my kids than I expected to end up with. He is now currently representing me though an ugly custody battle and slowly but surely exposing yet more lies from my ex. Both Spencer and his paralegal, Joanne, have kept me updated and informed me of all important developments in both my cases. Highly recommended.

I was at a loss in finding help. I was referred to Mr. Harrington's office in Spokane. I had moved to Vermont and needed help with my 5 year old divorce. I never spoke with Mr. Harrington and worked and communicated with his Associate Joanne. I live in Wenatchee, Wa and hired Mr. Harrington after my ex- husband was allowed temporary custody of my 6 year old son because the courts here allowed it due to a bogus CPS investigation. Before hiring Mr. Harrington i had to also obtain a criminial attorney in Wenatchee because the detective that the CPS intevestigator brought along with her charged me with two counts of 2nd degree assualt. I also had a court appointed attorney in juvenile court because CPS filed a depenedency against me. If it weren't for Mr. Harrington and his team I would currently be in a dependency and without my son. But thankfully I found Mr. Harrington and his amazing assistant Joanne. After working with the other two attorneys here in Wenatchee and then hiring Mr. Harrington and Joanne, it was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. When i called someone was their to answer my questions, when i sent an email, i always got a propt response back from Joanne telling me what to do or what to expect. Not only did Mr. Harrington get my son back after months of not having him home, he also just on his own to protect me and my son got CPS off my back when after obtaining my custody back in court, CPS tried to say they got a intake regarding Lincoln County ( this is where court took place) and now they had to do a safety assessment on me and have a investigation open for 45 days. After Mr. Harrington sent two letters they backed off and there was no safety assessment done. And from now on if they want to ask me anything they have to go through him. Cant say enough about this attorney and his assistant Joanne. One top notch team. Simple the best!

I was a victim of domestic violence. I had to leave my home with two young children. I was terrified and I needed someone to tell me bluntly that I needed to get out. My ex had a drug addiction that led to the abuse. I felt sympathy for him because he was ill. I didn't want to hurt him I just wanted to keep my children safe. My empathy for my ex kept me for asking what was fair financially. I didn't want any of our assets I only wanted to make sure my children would be protected. Spencer put together a very detailed parenting plan. He put things in it that have protected my children post divorce that I would not have known or thought to ask for and I will be forever grateful. I needed someone to be blunt and honest with me. It may not be want you want to hear at the time but if you want a attorney to tell you straight up what they think without dancing around your feelings and an attorney that will do what's in your best interests this is the attorney for you! His assistant Joanne is also wonderful. She's very responsive and has the same straight forward attitude as Spencer. I would highly recommend Spencer to anyone going through a divorce or needing protection from a abusive spouse or partner.

When you are going through a divorce you need not only a good attorney but a good human being. Spencer & Joanne are the best! And they are there to defend and support you through the process. They are professional and respected by their peer s and the courts. I had a very complicated (UCCJEA) custody battle being fought over state lines. They had the case moved to Spokane and then achieved nothing less than miracle results for me and my children.
