I cannot recommend Matthew Dudley highly enough. He is absolutely brilliant! He quickly identified several errors made by my ex's flashy, pristine suit-wearing attorney, with his fancy downtown office space. Matthew gets straight to the point and doesn’t indulge in unnecessary emotional discussions,which I had to keep reminding myself of during the process. Despite his no-nonsense approach, he is genuinely kind and showed real empathy when I was having a panic attack after one of our hearings. And yes, we won the case! Anyone who doesn’t appreciate him was likely on the opposing side. If you’re looking for a dedicated and effective attorney, you would be foolish not to hire Matthew Dudley. He truly knows the law!

Matthew doesn’t care about your feelings. Only facts. He’s not going to sugar coat anything and wants to get straight to the point. Listen to him and his directions carefully and follow them! He’s a great attorney and a bulldog in the court room. He got me everything I wanted and made my ex look likea fool.

Mr. Dudley gets straight to the point and gets it done. I am so glad to have a lawyer like him on my side. I hope I never need a lawyer again but if I do, I want him 1000%. One thing I want to mention is that I had to call him around deadlines, but when I did-- whatever needed to be done was done right away. I don't even care that I needed to do that, and the only reason I mention it is so that people who use him know to keep track of their own deadlines. His service was invaluable to my family and his fees are extremely reasonable.

I hired Matthew Dudley not once, but twice! I have had prior representation several years ago, and it was nothing like what I received from Dudley. He is extremely direct and very blunt, he is going to tell you exactly how it is and not what you want to hear or what is going to make you feel better at that moment in time. After the emotion wears off, you will sit back and realize they were things you needed to accept and needed to hear. His representation style is aggressive. He doesn’t want to waste time or listen to the BS. He wants to get right to the point and say it how it is. This was very hard for me at times to hear, but it was the truth. This man will not let you down. Dudley is extremely intelligent, knows the law, and is a bulldog in the courtroom. God forbid I ever have to go through any other kind of court proceedings again Matthew Dudley is the only lawyer I would ever consider. He works so hard, on every case and in my personal opinion is by far the best lawyer in town. Not hiring Dudley for your own representation would be risking going against him on the opposing side and I promise you that is not a position you want to put yourself in. Hire Matthew Dudley, it will be the best decision you ever make.

Mr. Dudley was my lawyer for 3 + years and will be my future lawyer when the time comes. My case was a really tricky and sometimes complicated one. We were fighting my abusive ex and dealing with the case being even more complicated due to the ex being military court martialed and much of their investigation couldn’t be released to me or my lawyer. He handled the situation beautifully though, and quickly learned how to handle some of the information coming from the military. The ex’s civilian lawyer was persistent and a snake in the grass. He pulled every thing he could and put me through hell, but once again Mr. Dudley did an amazing job handling him and all the many many court hearings. Yes, he’s a little rough around the edges. He’s not your therapist, he’s not going to sugarcoat things; he’s to the point and hates wasting time. He’s blunt and gets the job done. He’s amazing to watch in court and he slammed dunked won my case. I definitely want him in my corner and would hate to be going against him. All in all, he was a blessing to me and my kids. I will ALWAYS recommend him and definitely trust him as my lawyer to take care of things.

When I first started my search, I searched google for legal practices with great reviews. But they wanted me to place an initial $5K deposit to move forward. I asked my military colleague if they knew of a good civilian lawyer. They recommended Mr. Dudley. I admit he has a strong personality at times, but I absolutely would recommend him to any military member. He is fair with his prices, passionate, dedicated, and represents his clients to the best of his ability. If I need a lawyer again, he will be my first call.

Matthew Dudley is brilliant and observant. He takes note of each detail regarding your case and reveals the false narrative of opposing counsel in a way that is professional and skillful. Other lawyers fear him, and with good reason. He has high morals and honors the law, with no need to stoop to their lower level or underhanded tactics. In my experience, it is rare that I feel compelled to write a review for someone unless they have done truly exceptional work. This is only the second time I have ever written a review, the first being for a mortgage lender. With that said, I have to say that Matthew Dudley is an extraordinary and outstanding and somewhat miraculous family attorney who has truly gone above and beyond for us. We initially learned about Matthew Dudley through a friend, who had been turned down by him for representation. I was therefore hesitant when we first met, but Mr. Dudley quickly proved to be a no-nonsense attorney who tells the truth and is extremely direct, even to the point of being abrasive at times. He will not sugarcoat anything or act as a therapist, but rather, he will fight for you and your family. My father always told me to hire an attorney that other attorneys fear going up against, and Mr. Dudley fits that description. He is there to represent you and your family to the best of his ability. We hired Matthew Dudley to help us become de facto parents to our great granddaughter, and after a year of working with him, we went to trial. Matthew Dudley is an excellent trial lawyer, with a dynamic approach and a knack for finding and presenting key information that helped us get everything we asked for. He is also very respectful towards opposing counsel, and I believe that his attention to detail and careful preparation were key to our success in court. If you are considering hiring Matthew Dudley as your family attorney, I highly recommend him. He is dedicated to his clients, reasonably priced, and will always fight for you and your family. Just be sure to be honest with him and remember that he hates to repeat himself, so it is important to listen carefully to what he tells you. He will return your calls and emails as needed, although at times it may feel like you have not heard from him in a while - this is simply because there is no need for communication, and it is how he keeps his prices affordable. In short, you will not regret hiring Matthew Dudley as your attorney, and he will always be our family's go-to lawyer.

Fantastic lawyer. Ensures everything is kosher and helps you build the best case possible. When he becomes your lawyer he is there to fight for your cause. You may not like how he wants to do it and what he tells you to do, but he wins cases, listen to him. He is paid to represent you in the court system not coddle you. Stick to the facts. Do as he says. Your family will get the best outcome.
